"No, I mean, what was disturbing you at the lesson? You've never been that distracted before," he shook his head.

"아 그거? (Oh that?)" I scratched my non itchy head. Should I tell him? I sucked in a deep breath.

"I saw my boyfriend cheating on me earlier today," I put my head down.

"I visited his cafe without giving him prior notice as I wanted it to be a surprise. He thought I have day practice but you know, I didn't get picked for the upcoming project," I glanced at him as he fixed his position and lay back.

"When I arrived, I saw him hugging a girl in the cafe. I tried to convince myself that she's just a close contact, but it shattered when they look at each other with love in their eyes before kissing," I looked down at my palms that felt numb.

"I'm insecured, as the girl was wearing a sundress while here I am, with baggy trainers and flannel, reek of sweat after practices. We never went on a real date too, we just have casual hangouts. Maybe he's tired of me after a year and a half of relationship," a drop of tear fell on my palm.

I felt Yeo seonsaengnim's eyes on me so I refused to look up and closed my eyes. How pathetic am I? Talking about personal matters to a person I've never had proper conversation with. This is why I need my sister, she's my human diary.

I felt a warm hand slipping into mine and squishing it lightly as if to soothe me. Astounded, I looked up at him to find him staring intently at our clasped hands.

"Have you confronted him?" He asked slowly, not once lifting up his sight.

I shook my head weakly, unable to form any words. He let go of my hand and pat my head softly like he did in the convenience store earlier. We locked eyes for a while before I chose to look elsewhere. He stood up and fixed the cap on his head.

"내가 먼저 갈게, (I'll go now,) it's getting late. Don't do stupid things, okay?" He said and smiled.

"It's not to that extent, don't worry," I reciprocate his smile with a bigger one.

I stood up and walked him to the door to send him off. Once he was out, he pivoted on his heels and stood in front of me stiffly while I held the door open. He waved quite awkwardly before facing the stairs.

"아 맞다! (Oh right!) Y/N, I left the bread on the coffee table for you," he suddenly turned around before even taking a step away and scratched the back of his head.

"고맙다, 환웅씨. 전부 다, (thanks Hwanwoong. For everything.)" his name rolled smoothly on my tongue. He smiled before disappearing from my sight.

It had been a week after the unfortunate day. Hwanwoong insisted on sending me home after practices, saying that the stalker might find me again. It was kind of a surprise that Lee saem and Kim seonsaengnim didn't question anything when I wait behind for Hwanwoong.

The trio usually go home together as they share the same apartment. Maybe Hwanwoong informed them about the stalker incident after he went home that night. Hwanwoong and I warmed up to each other as we spent the walk to my home talking about ourselves.

One night, I went home by myself. The three dance instructors informed about their absences in our group chat for the night. My co-dancers joked that Kim Geonhak seonsaengnim had beaten the daylight out of Lee Seoho saem, and Hwanwoong had to take care of him. There's a chance for the joke to be true, though.

I was walking with the thought of our Tom and Jerry in mind, when someone tugged on my elbow harshly. I looked at the culprit and my heart dropped to my stomach.
