Chapter 10: Internet Connectivity

Everyone gathered around the computers. Gun, Nanon, Fiat, and Tay around Wave's and Off, Chimon, and Toptap around Pang's. 

Once everyone settled around him, Wave answered Pang's question, "We're in your room." He looked around the empty dorm. "It was a lot cleaner in here before you got cozy."

"Huh? How do you have the key to my room?"

Wave just rolled his eyes. "Just because we haven't got to that part of the series anymore doesn't mean when you gave it to me didn't happen."

"Okay whatever"

"Oh, by the way, where did you guys go?" Tay tried to get a better look through the screen. "Is everyone with you?"

"Yup, everyone's here" Off looked at his buddy through the screen. "What now?"

"We've got to find a way to get into The Gifted universe," Pang nodded to himself. "I doubt they'll be able to take down the director without me or Punn."

Wave hummed in agreeance. "Yeah, we'll gather the resources, proof, and allies, you guys get here without being caught."

"Should be easy"

"More like easier said than done." Off rolled his eyes at Chimon. "Do we have a plan after we arrive in your universe?"

They continued to chat through the screen before a nurse strolled through the door. "Gun needs a blood transfusion"

"Huh?" Pang could've sworn that Punn was doing well enough that he'd be able to walk out of the surgery room unfazed. "What happened?"

The nurse was surprisingly nonchalant after telling them the news. "We're not sure, he passed out and just started to decline."

"Okay I'll do the transfusion, I've got the same blood type as Gun." Off stood up to address the nurse.

She made a face a him. "Hmm of course you will." She turned and walked down the hall.

That wasn't a response Off would be surprised with but what did shock him was the face she made at him while saying it. Filled with disgust and irritation. "Did anyone get a weird vibe from her?"

"Yeah, I did too." Toptap walked next to Off, still where the nurse left him standing. "Is she new here?"

"That's so weird." Pang was thinking out loud from his seat on the bench. "Punn was fine earlier, just a little out of it."

"Okay," Chimon plopped down next to Pang. "If that lady does anything weird in the next 10 minutes you ask her about her real intentions, okay?"

Pang shrugged. "Fine with me."

The nurse entered the waiting room again. "Here, we've got an anesthetic to give to you before we draw blood." She walked over to him and pulled a large needle out of her pocket.

Off's hands immediately went up in front of him. "Woah lady, one needle's enough, I'll have it without the meds."

She rolled her eyes. "Why do you actors have to be so damn choosy. Just let me do it." She grabbed his arm and dramatically aimed the needle at his forearm.

Luckily for Off, Pang had other plans. "What's in the syringe?" He gripped her wrist tightly as himself and Toptap dragged her away from Off.

"A heavy duty anesthetic. This much would've killed him or at least put him in a coma."

Off winced as he quietly thanked Pang for the quick save.

"What were you planning on doing?"

"Kill Gun but he was trying to interfere, they said kill anyone that interferes, especially Off Jumpol."

Chimon just gaped. How was there people in this company that wanted to kill Gun? Everybody loved Gun.

"Who are you working for?"

"I don't know, they never revealed themself to me."

Before Pang could ask another question, Off jumped up from his seat and got ready to attack the nurse, who was luckily blocked by Toptap and Chimon.

"Off, let's just grab Punn and get out of here." Toptap grabbed Off's arm and pulled him to where Punn was taken.

They heard Pang tell the woman to sleep before following them into the room. When the saw Punn they were shocked. He was pale and cold, they never even started cleaning the cut and it was starting to get red and raw looking.

"Okay fuck guys," Off walked over and picked Punn up from the table. "We've got to fix this ASAP"

"I'll grab my car, I'll meet you guys up in front of the building." Toptap ran out the door in the direction of the parking garage.

"Pang, Mon, grab all the medical supplies you can carry." Off wrapped Punn's tiny body up in a white sheet. "I guess we're going to be doing this diy style."

Pang and Chimon raided the first aid room, grabbing liquids, needles, syringes, bandages, anything they could grab and fit into the duffle bag they'd found.

"Hey look over here." Chimon motioned them over to the metal bin in the corner. He'd found a bag of blood. "Do you think that's Punn's?"

Pang walked over and touched the bag. "Definitely, it's still warm even." He picked it up and put it in the duffle. "We shouldn't leave evidence of Punn here."

"Gross." Chimon made a face. "Although, does that mean we could put it back into him?"

"Hmm, I don't think we should risk it. If P'Off has the same blood type as Punn then we should just do it like that"

"Okay let's get out of here."
