Nerd or Badass?

"Am I suppose to be freaking out?" I asked Zayden

"Or are you going to deal with it rather than standing there and glaring" The rest of the guys chuckled as Zayden's glare turned to me but it soon changed to confusion

"You shouldn't be the one talking, you're the one at gunpoint" He replied

I rolled my eyes at him "Well do something!"

"Will you two shut up" The unknown voice holding the gun asked

Whoever was holding the gun had quite a husky voice and I could only expect a good looking guy.

"You realize that your alone facing five guys and the only advantage you actually have is a gun, oh and don't forget me" the man chuckled at my point of view

"You sweety have a death wish"

" If I have a death wish, than your probably already dead and do you mind putting the gun down so I can see who this mysterious person is?"

"Sure sweety anything for you" I knew he was being sarcastic but all I was doing was distracting him.

In the next second though there was no gun pointed at me instead Zayden had expertly hit it out of mystery guy's hand and was now holding it himself directly towards the mystery guy who I now had a full view of. He was actually a pretty good looking guy, but he didn't look like the guy that would hold an innocent person at gun point. He looked like more of the cute shy guy with his side swept brown hair adn blue eyes that were framed by a pair of black glasses.

I guess looks really can be decieving.

All the guys formed a circle around Zayden and the mystery guy whose name was still unknown.

"Who are you?" I almost burst out laughing at the question but stopped because I was also honestly curious to know.

My phone buzzed in my pocket and iI quickly pulled it out.

'I brought Jake to the diner, decided we needed to spend some man time together'-Nate

I smiled at the text, whenever Nate and Jake would hang out they would call it 'man time' I never really understood why, but it made Jake smile and that's all that really mattered.

'okay, thanks'-Ari

I looked up from my phone when I heard a groan.

"Ryan tell me who has sent you here" This time it was Caleb who questioned the mysterious guy who turns out to be Ryan.

I knew I was becoming mad at each second this guy was wasting in answering, all I came here for was to know when Zayden and I were going to work on the project. Instead it's been two hours since school ended and I haven't even got the chance to ask about the project. I let Caleb send another punch before I stepped in,

"okay enough of the chit chat, I've waited here long enough. All I want to know is when we're going to do this stupid ass project and Ryan you have pushed me to my fucking limits" I held my pointer finger up as I stepped towards Ryan with each word.

" i don't know who the hell might've punched you in the face but thank god they did. I'm quite shocked you pulled out a gun on me, that even when I have no clue who you are." by now my finger was hitting his chest and he seemed shocked by my outburst.

"now will you kindly tell me who sent you here? Or will I have to continue this" his face paled and I smirked, I can't believe that I have this affect on him that even in my nerd attire.

"u-u-um I was just told to tell the boys that boss has sent" finally we're getting somewhere

"who's boss?" I asked my serious face not faltering

"I don't know, that's what everyone calls boss" before I could further on question him, he booked it out of the parking lot.

I turned back around to face the guys to see their jaws dropped. I smiled at them amused, I guess this is kind of awkward I mean I met them not even a few hours ago and so much has happened.

"don't do that" said Ethan

"what?" I questioned

" smile, don't smile" this made me grin and in result caused them to cringe back. I really do have a killer smile.

" okay getting back to the point I really don't care whoever that was but I have a feeling you guys are familiar with this boss. Am I correct?" they nodded in response

" good then you guys can deal with it but for now, I'm going to leave here like nothing happened and that I don't know you guys at all" with that I turned and started my walk to the garage.

"wait" I stopped in my tracks and turned to face Zayden

"I'll give you a ride let's go" I nodded my head, he wouldn't know where I lived anyways since I'm going to the garage and just maybe we'll be able to start this project.

I stop in front of his car and started squeling jumping up and down

"what the hell are you doing?!" Zayden asked and I automatically stopped

" I was just excited to ride in a freakin' Audi r8,  I love this car"

" you know cars? But I've never seen you with a car, like your own car" his eyes narrowed just slightly but it was enough to have my face go pale

"um I think we should go" I wasn't making eye contact with him and quickly got into the car and thankfully he let it go.

" where should I drop you off?"

" you know that garage a few blocks down?" He nodded in response

"yeah there" I confirmed

"okay" He simply replied

We sat silently until we reached the garage. I was shocked he actually knew where it is especially since he's only been here about a week.

" thanks for the ride" I gave him a grateful smile and stepped out of the car.

Instead of leaving like I had expected him to he turned the engine off and stepped out.

Not bothering to know what he's up to I turn and walk in and he followed, is he really stalking me now because I don't think he's staying here to do the project.

I stopped and turned to face him " why are you following me?" my eyes narrowed in confusion

" It might look like that but I am not following you"

" Then what the hell are you still here for"

" Ah I see you two have already met" Nate's voice from behind me mad me jump slightly

" What do you mean, how do you know him?" I was honestly confused

"Ariana meet one of the new employees" Zayden smirked as my eyes widened in realization but that wasn't what scared me.

It was the fact he said one of them.
