Innocent and Pure (Tsukishima Kei x Reader)

Chapter 2 - We Met Again...

Y/N entered her classroom where they guys all stared at her. She awkwardly looked down shyly and sat on a seat that wasn't taken yet. 

"Hey." A guy with dark grayish-green hair said with a smile. "H-hi.." Y/N replied and smiled back. "Umm... why are they staring at me?" She whispered to the male. 

"Maybe because they think you're cute?" He responded with a chuckle. "I'm Yamaguchi Tadashi." He offered his hand.

"I'm Y/N." She said and shook his hand with a warm smile, making him blush. 

Tsukishima entered the class and stared at Yamaguchi and Y/N before going to his seat.

"Yo Tsukki, she's-" 

"Y/N" Yamaguchi spoke but was cut off by Tsukishima. 

"Woah, you know each other?" He asked while raising an eyebrow. Before he could answer, the teacher came in and everyone paid attention to the teacher. Y/N looked out the window with a sigh while Tsukishima looked at her, thinking if he should talk to her like they did in childhood or to start all over again.

'It's not like we were close back then anyway...'  He thought to himself, remembering that the only reason they met up was because of their older sibling. He looked down and scribbled his book, thinking that although they had the potential to be best friends because of family connections, they didn't really talk much since Y/N was the shy one and would constantly cry whenever Tsukishima teased her.

Tsukishima smiled to himself as he thought of all those childhood memories that he didn't notice the class has ended. 

"Hey Tsukki!" Yamaguchi shook him and that brought him back to reality. "Class's over, let's go" He added. Tsukishima just nodded and stood up before walking out with him.

[Time skip to lunch break]

Y/N was on her way to the vending machine since she didn't prepare anything for her for the lunch break. 

"Well this is what you get for being late Y/N" she muttered to herself and sighed as she stood in front of the vending machine, looking at the black-haired guy who was having a hard time making his pick between milk and yogurt.

"Umm.. could you, actually... let me go first if you want a longer time in thinking about what you want to have?" She asked while looking at him. He just looked at her and blushed as he nodded and let her go first, looking away to avoid staring at her.

She quickly took out some changes she had and looked at what was in the vending machine. She pressed the button for milk and grabbed the milk as it reached the bottom. 

Before walking away she looked at him with a smile. "Thank you." she said with a little bow before making her way back to the class.

While on her way to the class, a lot of guys were getting on her way, asking for her number or name. It got to a point where she couldn't push through the crowd and looked around to see for an opening. 

Suddenly, she felt someone grab her arm and pull her out of the swarm of boys. She looked up to see Tsukishima and mentally gasped in shock. He looked at her before releasing her arm and walking towards the classroom, as she followed him.

She sits on her seat and drinks the milk when she heard the desk behind her shift. She looked behind her to see Tsukishima looking out the window. She sighed and looked back at the front.

"How have you been?" Tsukishima asked softly, not really expecting a reply due to the awkward encounter.

She couldn't manage to bring words to her mouth and struggled to answer that question. Tsukishima looked up his glasses to look at her and looked out the window again, thinking she didn't wanna talk.

"Rough.." Y/N muttered while looking down, squeezing the empty milk box in her hand while Tsukishima looked at her with wide eyes. Before he could ask something Yamaguchi jumped in with a smile and rubbed Y/N's back.

"There, there, Y/N. I'm sure the attention you're getting from everyone makes you feel uncomf-" Yamaguchi was speaking when Tsukishima hit him on the head.

"I wasn't done talking" He said in a monotone and sighed.

"I'll walk you home." Tsukishima told and Y/N nodded while smiling at him
