Once I touched The Sky

The magical raft plays tricks on me

After a few seconds of waiting, it finally appeared. I looked back at Calpyso. She was running towards me with a bag.

"Here you go. These are supplies for the trip" she said. I thought about how awkward we were when I paid her a visit by being thrown here.

I pushed started off the rocky beach to sail. She gave me one last wave before running towards her garden.

I was eager to find out what had happened to me. About an hour or so, the waves started to get cranky. Occasionally , I would fall off the boat and be placed back on again. At least something the supplies she gave me, never seem to end. Magic I guess.

I would puke from seasickness. If I even had a godly parent, I'm sure it would not be Poseidon since I was sea sick.

I would look around, hoping to find land but no, all I saw was endless waves piling up on each other.

I went to sleep since I was going to die of boredom.

Around what looked like in the middle of the night, the boat shook violently, causing my head to collide with the wall.

"Ouch!" I muttered.

I exited the tiny room to see what had caused the sudden violent shake. I saw the waves starting to get big. I thought that was the cause of the shake of the raft. Then I felt something slimy wrap around my leg. I looked behind me. It was a giant mutated squid, Ew.

I dived left as it began to slap me with its tentacles. I tried throwing something at to try to break its bones but I realized that squids don't have bones.

I had to keep dodging his slaps with his tentacles? Check! Try to survive and not die? Not so much.

I grabbed a pocketknife I had gotten on my birthday. I aimed it directly towards the eye and hurled it at his eye.

This only agitated the squid by a lot.

It caught me off guard and he grabbed me, slammed me on the raft, and threw me across the water.

Luckily, he threw me like 5 feet so I easily swam back.

When I reached In it's radius, I picked me up a slammed me over and over again.

I managed to free myself but my head now again, aching with pain.

I summoned all my energy I could muster and what looked like me Nocking an arrow and shooting the very annoyed squid. The squid sank down in defeat.

My bow and arrow in my hand disappeared..

And I blacked out
