Dear Diary,
Today is my birthday, and my mum and dad gave me this journal. They say it will be good to record all the thoughts that go through my "insane, chaotic mind".
I suppose I should tell you a bit about myself....Well...
My name is Marlene.
I am officially 11!
I love creating any type of madness.
I don't have any best friends yet...
I have blonde hair and blue-gray eyes.
That's it. I'm not that interesting.
I come from a Pure-Blood family (The McKinnons), who actually like Muggles. So that's just brilliant!
My favourite band is The Beatles, but mum hates them. She says their music is awful. I disagree!
This year I'm hoping to get a letter to Hogwarts, a school for witches and wizards. There are four Houses; Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff. All of my family has gone there, and I really want to go. I don't think I'm a Squib, because I can levitate things when I want to, and I can make things change color.
As for my Hogwarts House, well, I don't really know which one I would like to be in. The majority of my family has been in Gryffindor, though there have been a few Ravenclaws.
I don't think I would be well-suited for Ravenclaw, because I tend to act before I think (at least, that's what father says).
And, I'm not at all a Hufflepuff. I don't think I need to explain further.
I really don't want to be in Slytherin. My family would be FURIOUS! Bloody hell, I would probably be disowned!
Ah, shit. My mum wants me to come down from my from to see my family.
