What if one of the Guardians of Light had a dream and was able to talk to Stella through it? Here's an example if we have Terra be the one to have the dream:
In Terra's dream...
Terra: *sees Stella* Stella! *runs up to her*
Stella: *turns to Terra* Terra? Is it really you? How are the others?
Terra: It's me, Stella. We're looking everywhere for you.
Stella: How long has it been since I faded away?
Terra: A year. We're not giving up till we find you though. Do you remember anything that can help us find you?
Stella: *tries to remember* I know that I appeared at The Final World and fought someone named Yozora. Chirithy can probably help you get there.
Terra: Got it. I'll tell the others.
Stella: Terra, can you promise me something?
Terra: What is it?
Stella: *looks down* The next time you see me, I will seem a bit...different. I want you to promise me that you and the others will still be there for me.
Terra: I promise.
