Episode 4 Round 1 Of The League

Mandi just signed his own death warrant.

The referee comes up to the podium, "This will be a 3-on-3 battle between Mandi and Ash Ketchum...begin!"

"Exeggutor, get me my easy win!" Mandi calls out his first pokemon.

"Exeggutor (Time to battle)!" Exeggutor says.

Ash smiles taking out his pokeball, "Kingler, Standby for battle!" He calls out his first pokemon.

Kingler is a crustacean Pokémon resembling a crab. Its strong shell covers the outside of its body, featuring a red upper half and a light tan lower half. Its upper half is topped with six tall, thin spikes that resemble a crown. Its light tan arms are also connected to its upper body. Its lower half doubles as its jaw with six fangs overlapping its upper body. Its two outer fangs are much larger than the inner four and are roughly half as tall as Kingler's entire body. Its hips visibly protrude from its lower body and connect to its four long, thin legs. Each leg has a single, claw-like foot. Kingler's main feature is its red pincers. Its left claw is roughly twice as large as the other and hard as steel.

"King Kingler (Let's show this fool how strong we are)." Kingler declares.

"Both trainers have selected their pokemon, Mandi goes with his trusty Exeggutor, while Ash Ketchum goes with Kingler!"

"Exeggutor versus Kingler, battle...begin!" The referee declared.

Ash decided to be a good sport and allow Mandi to make the first move, "You may go first, Mandi."

Mandi smirked, "Big mistake, Exeggutor, end this with Seed Bomb!"

Exeggutor shoots seeds from the top of its head at Kingler.

"Counter with Bubble Beam." Ash calls out calmly.

Kingler shoots a torrent of bubbles at the seed bomb attack, cancelling the attack out.

"Use Agility." Ash calls out another attack calmly.

Kingler surprises the crowd by hopping on the platforms on the water field quickly, before appearing before Exeggutor.

"Now, use Metal Claw."

Kingler's claw become surrounded in a silver aura before it slams its claw right in Exeggutor's face, making it fall backwards.

"Exeggutor, are you okay?!" Mandi calls out to his pokemon.

Exeggutor sits up slowly, one of its eyes closed shut, "Exeggutor... (I'm okay...)"

"Good, now use—"

Ash beat him to it just like in past days, "Use Crabhammer."

Kingler's claw becomes surrounded a silver aura once more as it slams the claw right into Exeggutor's face, knocking it out permanently.

The referee calls it, "Exeggutor is unable to battle, Kingler is the winner!"

The crowd cheers for Ash as Kingler jumps all the way back to his trainer, beaming with pride. Ash bends down, putting his hand on the top of his water Pokémon's head, "You were Great out there, Kingler."

"King kingler (Naturally)." Kingler smiles at his trainer.

Mandi was surprised his Exeggutor lost to a measly Kingler, but quickly deduced that it was just dumb luck and that he won't lose another pokemon to this runt again.

"Come on out, Seadra!"

"Sea (I won't lose)!" Seadra came out.

Ash decides to return Kingler, "You did great out there, Kingler. Thanks for your standby" He returns the water pokemon, "Pikachu. It's now or never."
