What happen to the Good ole days?

There's only so much love you can give to someone who doesn't show you any. It used to be easy, sometimes fun, hanging around my now-husband, Henry. It started off romantic. I can remember it like it was yesterday although yesterday he was slapping me with his bare hand.

Henry and I met at Laurel's Cafe. The coffee shop sold mochas, espressos and all sorts of coffees! I had a white chocolate chip mocha while he had a black cup of coffee. I know what type of coffee it was because he spilled it all over me, maybe that was his plan. "Oh I'm so sorry!" He cried when you turn around after bumping into me. "It's all good. I hate this shirt anyways, my grandma made it." I said with a smile. He smiled back,"I guess I need a new cup of coffee. I might as well get a bagel. Do you want one? " I replied"sure!" He then asked "What type?" and of course I replied chocolate chip knowing my face was bright red along with his.
Their felt like small chemistry I couldn't shake. "Here you go!" He replied in a sweet voice. "You know I never caught your name." He said. "My name is Elizabeth, but you can call me Elle.'' I said.  " Well Elle it's nice to meet you my name is Henry." "Nice to meet you too!"I said.
I looked at my phone and saw it was 8:00. "Oh shit! I'm late for work!" I said as I rushed out. "Wait!" He called."May I have your phone number?"
And just like that it happened. I was officially socializing with Henry. He took me on fancy dates such as meals at Laurel diner, which is a very expensive restaurant, to the drive-in movies, which is where we had our first kiss, and to picnics at the park. I don't understand how I didn't see it though.  He showed a little bit of anger issues with other people who would not obey such as someone as simple as workers at McDonald's giving the wrong meal. Where did I go wrong at? What did I not see?
