"it may be hard to believe, but what if I told you there was a world like ours?"

"...so a nether type world?"

"no, exactly like ours. same grass, sky, dirt, air. like a copy. but it's not a copy. it's reality.
not ours, but the reality of them. the people who live in it."

"steve, you sound like a doomsdayer conspiracist type bitch-"

"I'm serious."

y/n closed her mouth, waiting for steve to continue on.

hero stared at his wall. poloroid pictures and notes littered the wall.
"where the fuck is it..."
he growled. there was a relic, some say is older than the stars. others say it was made of
the stars. whatever the hell you believed, you knew it was powerful. powerful enough to
satisfy the lust one has for power.

but it never satisfied any owner of the relic.
it only fed their need for more. they needed to have more power.
this greed is inherited by almost every human being.

every owner was driven to insanity. most made foolish acts with the beleif that they were
immortal. yet herobrine thought he was smarter then them. he thought he would be able
to contain himself.

but once he found it, the overworld was never the same. the sun never seemed to shine
half as bright as it did before. the air was thick with hate. everybody became
nothing but mere ants. pests even.

that's when hero realized, there was much more to conquer. he only had a piece of the pie.
so what did he do? take over everything, of course. but he aimed higher then that. he
was a firm believer in alternate worlds. if the nether existed- a place that can't be found without
a portal- who's to say another world or planet at the very least didn't?

and so, he found this world. the one we currently know and love. he doesn't have much
of his powers or strength as he did in his own reality. but he has only one goal in mind.
and he won't stop until it's achieved.

"you left out the part where it mentions what the hell he wants with me."

"tsk, as if I know. that's all I know. which would you rather believe? doppelgangers or alternate
worlds?"

"doppelgangers are much more believable..."
