R: mommy I want this. She says holding up a toy

M: I wouldn't say yours because u did leave me

She pointed to josh
J: no baby I am I just wasn't able to be there

J: hey mads can I spend time with her one of these days
M: hmm let me think u left me when I told u I was pregnant, then I met josh which has been here since the day she was born and not 3 years later u want to come back into her life I think not

It's been a couple of months and it's your court day

Skip the court part and Rosie will start going to jadens house every other day

Jo: so how'd it go baby
M: Rosie will start going to jadens house ever other week

You heard a knock on the door u open it u had all of rosies things together

J; hey mads yk we should hang out some time after not talking for like 3 years

J; alright we gonna go

Jo; mads really you would hang out with him
M: Josh he isn't going to do anything
Jo: listen mads it's nothing that u did or what I did I feel like we should break up
M: oh ok
Jo: listen it's ok doesn't mean we won't be able to get back together later on

Jaden: ok meet me at chick-Fil-a

I saw mads walk in without josh

J: hey josh didn't want to come
M; we actually broke up after u picked up rose
J: did I cause it
M; no it's just it Wasn't the time to date yk

I could see Jaden starring at me while I was talking to Rosie
Mads: what why are u staring at me

M: well I'm gonna go Ik u want to spend time with Rosie
J: thanks for coming to hang out with us I'm actually gonna go to my moms house that way she could see Rosie

Idk why but when I talked to her it made me regret leaving her then I turned to Rosie and it made me so so sad that I left Rosie for 3 years I wasn't in her life for 3 years instead josh was.
Also when mads told me her and josh broke up it kinda made me happy

Mads pov

Time skip
It's been abt 4 months since Rosie started going with her dad you and Jaden made up and u guys are kinda talking again
He was gonna pick u up to go on a date u guys left Rosie with Jadens mom

You get a text from Jaden
Jaden: hey I'm outside
Mads: ok Omw

You get into Jadens car
J: hi u look cute
M: thank you. You don't look to bad yourself

You guys get to the restaurant
J: hey mads
M: yea
J: so yk how we've been talking for like 2 months
M: yea why
J: well I've been way more happier after I broke up with u when u told me that u were gonna have Rosie I've been diagnosed with depression but after these last couple months I've been actually being happier so I wanted to ask you if u want to be my girlfriend
M; omg yes ofc jaden

You guys finish eating and leave
J: hey mads my mom said if it's ok if Rosie stays with her for a week
M: sure

U guys get home and you ask him want to watch a movie
J: sure baby
You guys find a movie and fall asleep

You wake up to jaden not being next to u you get up and brush your teeth u walk downstairs and see a note
