Every day and every night, it watches me. Sometimes I feel it surrounding me. I lay and try to drift off but the feeling like someone is watching me sweeps over me. I sit up and I see a giant blob with big eyes, staring at me from across the room. Its gaze locked onto me as the hairs stand on my arm. I could do something about it. I could try to make it move, but it was too big. It inched closer to me.

"Stay back!," I shouted as I threw a pillow at it.

The pillow got absorbed by the blob. It seemed to dissolve in its stomach. With my new found dread, I fell to the floor. I feared for my safety. The blob expanded and expanded.

"I don't want you here!!," I shouted.

It almost took up my whole room with how big it is. The house was next. I knew everything will be dissolved come morning. What can I do? There was nothing to do. I'm beat.  How can I be like this? Knowing that there is no way out, I reached out my arms and embraced it. The blob pulled me into the center, where I burned. Corroding away in a blob hand me thinging... could this have been avoided...?
