Vampire Knight: A Truebloods story vol.1

Love or hate.

It was 12:40pm in the afternoon on a stormy skied Saturday and Mei appeared to be rolled over on her side laying in bed listening to the rain on the sun dormitories roof. "He was so cold towards me" mumbled Mei as she sighed then rolled over again to face the door. "Why do I still have a soft spot for Zero anyway?" Said Mei leaning up to hop out of her warm single sized bed. "Ughhh.. I should probably get up and do something" complained Mei and she stood up and walked over to the mirror to fix herself up while finding some clothes she prepared when she moved back to Cross Acadamy.

Mei found herself dawdling to a spot she hadn't seen before, a place that was so green filled with trees and fresh grass with a few light pink flowers with a picnic table in the centre. "What's this?" She questioned as she walked over to the table and stood a few metres away from it "This is beautiful.." She thought and twirled around with her head facing up looking at the sky that was a dark grey colour as the rain stopped she breathed in the fresh air. As she was twirling she heard footsteps walking her way and suddenly stopped twirling feeling embarrassed as she looked up to find... Zero looking at her oddly.

"...what are you doing?" He mumbled as he stood there confused looking at Mei's hair that was messy and wet. Uh..I was just...looking around" spoke Mei as she backed towards the table and sat down. "what are YOU doing?" Questioned Mei trying to change the subject. "Looking around." Mumbled Zero as he slowly made his way to the table and sat down the opposite side of Mei.

"Why do you make it obvious that you have feelings for me Mei." Said a serious looking Zero waiting for Mei's reply "because.. I wanted to go back to the way we use to be..?" Said Mei slowly as she looked up at Zero. "And that was? What, when I use to kiss you and be nice to you? Mei, I did like you" as Mei heard that her eyes lit up as she stared at Zero waiting for him to continue "but that was two years ago Mei and you've changed since then." He said started to stand up as he looked down at me whose eyes were filled with tears. Mei stood up as well and turned around not facing him. "Don't cry idiot.." He mumbled as he walked off leaving Mei behind trying to clean herself up. (This scene is off Ao Haru Ride)

"I've..changed?" Mei said as she stood there looking at her hand, small droplets of rain fell on it.

Headmaster's Lounge / 4:30pm.
Yuuki & Mei were sitting together watching a television show while eating popcorn snuggled up together with a old brown blanket over top of them. "This is great" smiled yuuki waiting for Mei to agree "yeah, this is quite relaxing" giving yuuki a faint smile.

"Yuuki.." Said the headmaster I need to speak to Mei for a second is that alright?" "Yeah, what's up headmaster?" Replied Mei looking up at him. "Kaname & I would prefer you to transfer back into the Moon dorm with Yuuki and Zero instead of being in day class when your formally a vampire now" said headmaster as he looked at Mei. "Oh.. Is that so?" Sighed Mei "well I don't mind headmaster just do what you think is best." "I will expect you to be fully moved back into Yuuki's dorm by Monday at the latest." Replied the headmaster as he walked out so the girls could continue watching the stupid show that was on.

"So i noticed you and Zero were sitting out together in headmasters garden. What did you two talk about?" Asked yuuki looking up at Mei who was picking up a piece of popcorn. "Uh... Well we had a falling out.. He doesn't like me as much as he liked me before." Sighed Mei putting the popcorn in her mouth. "Aw really? What happened?" Said yuuki sitting up facing Mei "he said I have changed.. I still like him yuuki.." Sighed Mei leaning up to stand up. "I'm going to start packing up my stuff to move back into our dorm, see you later.."
