"Mom I'm going to the park don't worry I will be back by 5 for dinner," I told my mom. Before looking at myself in the mirror I was 5'5 had brown hair and brown eyes. I was Mexican- American and proud to be.
"Okay, just don't be late,"
I loved going to my local park, it was a great distraction. Mother Nature was so beautiful that I went there for my daily run.
-Barron POV-
"Father can I get Netflix you never let me play sports, or have social media, what's the harm in movies. Please father I am begging you." I told him.
"No Barron. You could spend you time more valuable in something then movies. Now go get a book. I'll see you in the morning."
Father was always like this. I hated it. I never got the chance to do normal things. Teenagers like me were suppose to hangout with friends or watch movies, play sports. I know he is the president and everything it just affected me tremendously. I want to do something wild or crazy to remind me I have control over my life. But what? I know I am gonna go to a different state. Without my parents finding out. I won't see them until tomorrow morning it's 5pm. I will go somewhere like a park and obviously try to stay under the radar wearing a coat or hat. I will surprise myself maybe Nevada, New York, or California? I'll let the helicopter pilot choose. Not like they would care they won't see me until tomorrow for breakfast.
-Jennifer's POV-
Once I got at the park I admired the beauty. The ducks, the pond. Everything was gorgeou-
"Oo, no you ducks stay away from me." I heard a stranger voice say right before he bump into me.
"Oh no sorry madam I didn't mean to bump into you it's just I don't really like ducks that much." He told me
"Haha it's okay. When I first starting coming to the park I didn't really like the ducks too but I got use to them."
"You come often?"
"Yea I guess. I try to come every week day. It's a stress reliever you know?"
"Yes I guess it is. Just look how beautiful the park is. So wanna walk with me?" The boy asks me.
"Depends are you going to give me your name? I don't walk with strangers." I replied
"Will, my name is Will."
"Okay then Will I'm Jennifer."
-Barron POV-
As I talk to Jennifer I feel so guilty for lying. I told he my name was Will. If I told her my name was Barron then what if she somehow found out who I was? I just want to be treated normal. But my body guards that have been scattered around us look at me with shade. I just feel like this is gonna stab me back in the future.
"So Will tell me? What brings you to the park?"
"I wanted to do something risky."
"What do you mean? You wanted to do something risky, so you came to the park?"
I know going to the park isn't risky for most people but if my parents knew I was here well let's just say they wouldn't be pleased.
"I didn't tell my parents I came. I kinda want to make them mad."
"Oh so you do have part of the devil in you. I thought you where all Angel."
"I like to spice it up once and while."
"Hahaha you seen really nice Will. Why haven't I seen you around before? You are in high school huh? That's probably the reason. Well I am gonna be a 9th grader this following school year."
"No I am actually just going to start high school like you."
"Really? What middle school did you go to?"
"Oh. Um I am not from around here, I just came to visit."
"Oh that's a shame."
"And why is that?" Giving her a little smile.
"Because our schools are really good in California?" She tried to sound convincing.
"Really?" I tell her knowing that wasn't her real answer."
"Haha yes. Anyway why are you so tall Will? Like I thought I was tall but you look like your 6 feet or more."
" Don't ask me, ask the genetics."
"Look at the amazing view." Jenifer tell me looking at the beautiful pond.
I look at her the whole time not bothering to look at the pond, "What a beautiful view it is."
She blushes almost immediately.
"Your cheeks are the color of a peach." I tell her.
"My favorite fruit are peachs"
"No way mines too. They are so underrated."
"Yes just becau-" she gets interrupted by a call from her phone.
"Yea hello? Omg I'm so sorry mom I will be back by no time."
"Leaving so early?"
"I'm so sorry but I completely lost track of time and I have to go before my mom gets really mad. See you tomorrow?" She says with hope.
"I'm sorry peach but I am leaving today? How about you give me your number?" I tell her hoping she doesn't get mad or the nickname I gave her.
"You are lucky you know. I don't usually give my number to strangers."
"I'm not a stranger you know my name remember?"
"Aww yes. Will. Will do you have a last name by any chance?"
"Not that a remember, nope nothing crosses my mind."
"Guess I will just have to figure it out. Don't forget to text me." She tell me with a smile on her face and jogging away. Wow what just happened? I try to tell myself.
-Few hours later-
It's like 10pm and I usually start going to sleep at this time but I decided to get a late night snack. I don't really know what I want, then I see a peach. Guess someone went grocery shopping today and I am happy they did remembering today.
