"Finally! Save me Matty, these people won't leave me alone." Liza gave him her best fake pout she could muster as the boy in front of her only laughed and dragged her outside. "Thank you, I felt like I was suffocating in there."

"No problem, happy to help." Matt took notice of how tired she looked, it was hard not too, even if she did put on enough makeup to hide the bags. There was something in her eyes that gave it away. "Hey, you ok? Elena said you haven't been feeling like yourself lately." Liza simply smiled at the boy sheepishly as she took in his concerned look. "Yeah. I'm ok Matty, just working through some stuff."

"Well just remember, I'm here if you need anything." Liza's smile only grew at his words, she reached out to hug him, surprising the boy. "Thank you Matt. It means a lot." The boy then held out his hand as he motioned to the dance floor, silently asking if she would like to dance. Liza smiled at him and gladly accepted, knowing that right now, when she couldn't make sense of anything, she could rely on her friends and family to be there for her. That was how Liza spent the rest of her night, dancing and chatting with Matt until Elena came to her steaming.

Liza knew by the look in her cousins eye that something was wrong, majorly wrong, and she had a feeling it had to do with Damon. She saw him smirking at Elena and Stefan after they had a fight on the dance floor a few minutes ago, and Elena had just gotten in his face about something mere seconds before she stormed over to Liza.

"I need to talk to you, now." Liza looked to matt with a small smile and went with her cousin, leaving the blonde haired boy behind. "What's wrong?" Elena was making her way over to Stefan, her hand tightly wrapped around her cousin's wrist, letting go as they approached him.

"I'm sorry, I take it all back. You guys were completely right about Damon." Liza looked to Stefan for a clue as to what she was talking about. He simply gave her a look and turned to Elena. "What did he do?" Liza looked at her cousin, waiting for a reply. The burnette looked at her cousin and grabbed her wrist again, preventing her from doing something like the other night and running off, leaving Elena to worry. "There are bruises all over Caroline's body. Bite marks, and he has her all confused and messed up in the head." Stefan simply looked down and nodded, almost like he was expecting something like this. Liza, however, was very protective over her new friends, and was steaming. She knew she couldn't go after him, not right now. She looked at Stefan, watching his reaction, "You don't look surprised." Stefan blanked for a moment, knowing the banshee in front of him was dangerous, the last of her kind, and most importantly his friend, he needed to make sure she didn't go after him and get hurt, not before someone could train her in her abilities. "I'm handling it." Liza was shocked at his answer, while Elena voiced what they were both thinking. "Handling it? Stefan you should be having him arrested."

Stefan looked between the girls, careful with his words, "Liza, Elena, please. I don't expect you to understand." Elena simply stepped back and shook her head, "I don't understand anything Stefan. So why don't you just clear it up for me?"

"Look there are thing that you don't know, ok? Things I want to tell you, but I can't and I may never be able to," At this point it was obvious he was speaking to both of them "and I just need you to trust me." Liza decided to speak up for both her, and her cousin, knowing they held the same standpoint on this matter. "Trust is earned, we can't just magically hand it over." Stefan then looked at something over Elena's shoulder, looking between her and Liza, and back to Elena, "I'm so sorry, I have to go," And with that, Stefan left them.

Liza turned to her cousin, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder and squeezing it, "We should go find Caroline, make sure she's ok." Elena nodded and followed her cousin to the house, the two of them splitting up to go find Caroline in the giant mansion. It took twenty minutes for Liza to receive a text from Elena saying she had Caroline, and that she was bringing her home. Liza smiled and replied to her cousin saying if Caroline needed anything then to text her.

With that Liza made her way home, exhausted from tonight's events. She was just about to turn off her light when she received a notification, saying she had a text message.

Hello My Lovely readers! I made a promise to get this Chapter up as soon as possible and I delivered. I made this chapter shorter only because I didn't really see where Liza could fit into the episode. Let me know if you guys prefer the longer or shorter chapters. If I do shorter chapters, odds are I'm gonna end up splitting the episodes into two or more chapters. Until next time!
