Bad boy and his toy

First day .. Yay...

"Welcome to our school! Lincoln's the name, educations the game!" A lady with curly red hair and way too much makeup greeted me. She stared at me for a few seconds.

"Okay... Do you think I could get my schedule?" She seemed unfazed as she grabbed my folder and pushed it my way. I thanked her and started to back away but she cut me off.

"I just love your parents work in 'Hurricane of worries'. It really opened up my eyes on how to really greet students right." she said as her eyes slowly opened up more. I had to get out of there!

"Um thanks I'll tell them that. Thank you." I said rushing out the door. As I was a few feet away, I heard her yell back 'GET ME AN AUTOGRAPH'. I just chuckled.

You see, my parents are journalists that travel to different towns and places and get to know how that town lives and interacts. And when they think they know enough, they try to blend in and change the community for the better. I'm surprised we aren't dead yet. We've been to some pretty bad neighborhoods and now we just moved to a street fighting town.

Ya know just once I would like to live in a town where you can say hi to anyone you want and NOT get shot!

I get caught up in my thoughts and pass my locker until I go back to the blue painted box of metal. Slowly opening it, I heard a loud pitched squeal that makes me wince in pain.

"Ahhh oh my god Dommy! How are you?" The tall blonde haired girl jumps on the most beautiful guy I have ever seen. His hair is a chocolate brown that stands up a little in the front and his eyes are a piercing blue. They look over to me for a moment and we hold eye contact for a few seconds before the blonde comes between us. I stare just a little longer. Wow that is one hot guy!

"Hey snap out of it girl! You could do so much better than him!" A red head snuck up on me. I gasped and held my poor dying heart.

"Don't do that! You could have killed me!" I snapped rubbing my eyes. she rolled her eyes and grabbed my schedule.

"Well... Peyton, it seems like we have 5 classes together! I'm Amelia but you can call me Lia! I'll show you to class and tell you why you should stay away from Dominic Grey." She started walking away and I ran to catch up to her. I don't know why but her energy was so hearty, she seems like a nice person.

"Okay so what did this so called Dominic do?" I asked. Lia held out her fingers and pointed to each as she talked.

"Amanda, Paisley, Emma D., Emma Q., and oh let's see... the whole rest of the school!" I stood confused.

"So like.. even the guys..." I asked weerily.

The red head laughed loudly then went to a wondering face.
"Maybe..." she said as she looked off into space. "No probably not. He's a street fighter so I think he gets the girls and hurts the guys."

"I'm sorry did you stay street fighter?" I asked gulping to myself. she nodded and I almost passed out.

We were just a couple feet away from our class, when Lia pushes me into an alcove where some of the others had gathered quietly.

"Don't move."

I watched curiously as Dominic walked through the quiet empty halls looking satisfied and the blonde girl walking fast to catch up with him. I giggled a little as the blonde twisted her ankle with the 10 inch heels she had on. The tall wall of steel with blue eyes snapped my way with a glare. He looked me up and down and went back to my eyes and said in a deep voice that had me shivering.

"Warning number 1. Don't let it get to 3." He turned back and kept walking. Everyone looked to me as if I were already 6 feet under. I didn't blame them. I was so scared my legs were shaking.
