I'm a Murderer

Chapter 1

"Hurry up,Jade! We're gonna be late!" My friend,Marisa,yelled at me.I started running faster to catch up to her.Today was the beginning of university for me and my friend.But,it looked like we were going to be late.
I finally caught up to her,taking small intakes of air to calm my nerves.
"We're so lucky.We made it just in time." She said,smiling.I nodded and walked through the giant doors of the building.As we walked,we saw people socializing with each other,which made me frown.I didn't have many friends,but I had a few that stayed with me this long.I was surprised about it,but I guess they didn't care about a very dark secret I have yet to tell them.That dark secret is something no one,not even my own parents,will ever know about.
As I thought about this dark secret,Marisa pulled me into a classroom that was full with students.Most of them looked at us as we entered,but they then turned back to whatever they were doing.I just sighed and sat down in a seat,Marisa following.
"So,see any cute boys in this crowd?" Marisa asked me.I rolled my eyes and shook my head.She was always either thinking about boys or school.I then scanned the crowd,looking to see if I saw anyone familiar.I then smiled as I saw one of my other closest friends,Jack,walking towards us.
"Jack,it's been awhile!" I say,standing up and hugging him.He smiles and rolls his eyes at me.
"It's only been a few months.Hell,we even got together a few times this Summer to do stuff with our other friends! What are you talking about it being awhile since I saw you,Jade?" He said,chuckling.I smiled and sat back down.He then took a seat next to me,just as an adult stood up and motioned for everyone to sit down.He looked about 30 years old,and he was surprisingly smiling at us all.Unlike other teachers I've seen,I thought.
"Welcome everyone,to (insert some technical university)! It's a pleasure to meet you all! Now,let me start off by introducing myself! I'm Professor Wright,and I'll be your teacher today.Now,I'm going to go around the room and I want everyone to introduce themselves! Let's start off with you here..." He trailed off.I didn't really care about what he was saying,only wanting to get this introduction over with so we could get to some technical stuff.
As he kept going around and letting the students introduce themselves,I took out my private notebook and flipped to the last page I wrote on.In this notebook,I keep names of certain people.You might be wondering why.Well,it's a long story.
It happens to be apart of my dark secret,actually.And that dark secret is...
"You there! With the notebook! Introduce yourself,young lady." The professor said,interrupting my thoughts as I looked up to see him pointing at me.I looked around at everyone in the room,and they were all facing me.I sighed,flipped my notebook shut,and stood up.
"I'm Jade Kelsey.I specialize in advanced technology,such as the things the military use.I'm 19,and I like to stay quiet instead of yelling around like everyone else I've met,aside from my friends here." I said,with a straight face.I then sat down,and opened my notebook again,checking off names.I looked over my notebook at everyone,and saw them just looking at me with weird looks.I just shrugged and continued with my notebook,and soon they all stopped staring.
I'll be adding a lot of names to my notebook this year,I thought with an evil smirk.
"Time Skip"
I sat in front of a tree,just outside of the dormitory.Today was a pretty boring day,aside from spending some time with my friends.I sighed and took out my notebook.I looked at a certain page and smiled.
"Lindsay Tucker.I saw her today in class.She'll be my target tonight.She did bully me towards the end of my last year in high school,but I didn't get the chance to do anything to her.Well,she should've never pushed me down those stairs." I quietly said to myself.Oh,you still might be wondering what exactly I mean by names and targets.Well...
I'm a murderer.
