Fighting The Mighty

He resonded, "And I love you." Then he grabbed my waist and drew me in closer, then he griped my lips with his. I flew once more and wanted to fly higher. Before I knew what had happened, a huge force hit me in the right side, sending me soaring and hitting a tree. I opened my eyes and saw Jacob staring at a cloak figured illuminated by the moon. They removed the hood revealing Vixen's face darkened by anger.

"Keeping your dry ass lips off my little brother!" She yelled.

"Vixen! Why are you here? Leave now!" Jacob yelled back.

"That's the kind of response I get for saving you Jacob! How rude." She says.

"What did you save me from? My girlfriend!" Jacob shouted and got up from the bench, as he began walking over, Vixen transported to me first.

"Vixen, let me go!" I said as Vixen pinched my arm

"Stop, let her go!" Jacob said stopping a few feet away.

"You know I need her Jacob, just like I need you. So why would I let her go?" Vixen asked but Jacob merely replied with a cold stare.

Vixen turned to me and knelt down beside me. Her eyes glowed bright red in the night as she came close to my ear to whisper.

"I'm working on a special something for you Kassy, but it's not ready yet so I'll come back for you another time." She said and backed away, then I realized what she meant. She was going after Jacob!

"Vixen, no!" I said but it was too late.

"Paralynox Externous!" She yelled and cast her spell at both of us.

I watched Jacob be sent flying and landed hard on the ground. He struggled to move but couldn't and Vixen inched closer. I needed to break free, but how! Jacob was also trying and I could tell he was thinking of the reverse spell. Then it hit him!

"Castio Reverto Paralynox!" He yelled and a blue wisp grew from his hand and it broke him free, then it came after me and I had feeling was once again regained. I jumped up and kicked Vixen in the back. Then Jacob punched her across her face, causing her to stumble back and rubbed her jaw.

Jacob came over to me, and we watched Vixen. Then she disappeared and Jacob's eyes grew, he turned to me and was about to say something when I was forced back. I looked up and saw Vixen standing there with her eyes ablaze with anger. Jacob had hit the bench and was unconcious and I felt fear grip me with its icy cold arms. I raised myself up and stared at Vixen with my own eyes of fury.

"My brother doesn't deserve to be with a pathetic, half-extradinare like you!" Vixen said

"Well, this pathetic half-extradinare did a better job of taking care of him then his own sister!" I replied and Vixen lost it.

She screamed like a cold-hearted banshe and then ran at me, stricking me in the stomache. I flew back and hit that stupid tree again. I raised my head feeling all this pain driving with me. I begin to relieve my pain with my healing ability. And I did it just in time too, because Vixen shot a flame at me but I managaed to duck out of the way!

"Vixen, this is pointless. You know that Vlad will only be brought back if Jacob and I willing help, and you know we won't do that!" I shouted at her.

"Don't worry Kassy, you'll soon both be begging to help out your master." She said drawing closer.

"My master? Did I hit you that hard?" I laughed but Vixen didn't seem to be in the mood.

Vixen stood tall then jumped up and struck the ground sending a vibration that made me lose my balance. Vixen then closed in on me and knelt beside me. She recasted her paraylsis spell and I was stuck once more. Then she got up and walked over to Jacob, who was close to regaining conciousness.

"No, no Jacob. I think you still need to sleep. Enslopa Dremion Castes." She said and placed her finger on his head. I watched Jacob slow his breathing and fall victim to Vixen's spell.

"No, Vixen, stop!" I shouted.

"I'll take my brother and come back for you another time." Vixen said and began to move her hand to Jacob's chest. She was going to transport away, and I would lose Jacob all over again.

"No, I won't let you take him from me again!" I shouted and began to concentrate on control, so I closed my eyes

I felt a strong tension on me and then it eased up and I opened my eyes. I saw Jacob lying in front of me. I realized I had succed in possesing Vixen!

What's going on? Where am I? No way, you have possesion powers! Vixen's mind spoke to me

Yes Vixen, I do. And I'm not letting you hurt Jacob. I'm handing you over to Carlos. I said to Vixen and then focused on Jacob.

When I posses a person I can use their abilities. So, I just need a healing spell to wake up Jacob. This need to be a strong spell to awaken him.

"Saracath Omon Unich Driem Wokonis Imortial!" I shouted, casting my spell on Jacob. His eyes opened slowly, but when he focused them on me, they grew.

Jacob jumped up and tackled me down, "I won't let you harm Kassy. Where is she?" Jacob said and his grip on my wrists began to tighten, the pain was immense.

"Jacob please, its me. Kassy!" I tried to reason with him.

"No more games. You leave Kassy alone, where is she?" He said while tightening his grip.

"Ouch! Stop Jacob, it's me! My body is right there." I pointed my head in the direction of my body. It layed lifeless on the ground. Without a soul, a body can seem dead. But I was far from dead., "Jacob, I used my ability to posses Vixen, I couldn't let her harm you." I tried again.

"Stop your tricks!" Jacob yelled and picked me up. He threw me with massive strength into a tree and I fell to the ground with a thud.

Jacob ran over to my body and lifted me up gently. He gazed at me and tears formed. He must think I'm dead!

"Her body is as cold as your heart Vixen. Why did you kill her? I thought you needed her!" Jacob said without looking at me.

"Jacob, I'm not Vixen. And I'm not dead. When I posses a person, my soul enters their body. And because my soul leaves my body, it appears that I've died. But I haven't. I can prove I'm Kassy." I was hoping he would give me a chance. I may sound like Vixen, but these words are mine!

"Prove to me your really Kassy! What did I say to you in your ear when you found me on the train." Jacob said knowing that was something I would only know.

I took a deep breathe and stood up. I walked towards Jacob and sat infront of him so I could see his eyes. Then I opened my mouth and spoke, "You told me you knew I would come. You believed in me. Because I was your only hope."

Jacob's eyes grew and he laid my body down. He reached over my body and hugged me. I hugged back and then let go to see tears in Jacob's eyes.

"I'm so glad your not dead. If you had died I would have never forgiven Vixen and would have probably killed her out of rage. I don't want to be a monster like that." Jacob said to me, staring in my eyes.

"Jacob, don't think that way. Even if I died, I would have never let you kill someone out of rage, my soul wouldn't allow it. I love you Jacob, and won't let you become a malice extradinare." I said and leaned in for a kiss, but was stopped when Jacob placed his hands on my arms.

"Listen, Kassy. I don't feel comfortable kissing my sister. I'll wait until you return to your body." Jacob smiled and I blushed from embarassment. I totally forgot I was Vixen.

"Ha, right. Good idea." I smiled and stood up.

Jacob picked up my body and looked at me, "Don't want to leave this behind. Or I'll be stuck dating my sister for awhile." Jacob laughed and I did too.

Then we made our way to Carlos's house to lock up Vixen for good. Unfortunally, we didn't do too great of a job!
