Chapter 2 | friends

Y/n's POV // about 20 minutes later // 7:20 am

I unpacked my clothes, Abby sat on the bed impatiently.

I looked at her as she tapped her foot.

"I'm fine Abby" I said to her.

"Why can't I help you?" She groaned.

"You have to get used to not helping me out on things, were living a new life here" I tried explaining to her that I wanna do things on my own, but she's been helping me out for so long..

"Anyways, where would you wanna live?" I looked to her as I folded my clothes.

"Probably in a cottage, maybe in the forest, it would be nice to have quiet space and Everytime we'd have to go out we can take in the fresh air and walk for a bit before getting to town!" She smiles and fell back to the bed.

"Yeah.. that's sounds really nice.. and we could study the herbs and plants all around the cottage and forest" I suggested.

"Well then I guess we'll have to look for a cottage in that description" Zen came in, he smiled and Grace followed close behind.

"What do you think Gracie?" I looked to her.

"I think that sounds awesome!" She smiled excitedly.

"Then, after this we'll check out a few cottages in the forest" Zen smiled.

I finished unpacking and laid on the bed opposite from Abby.

I rested my legs on the headboard of the bed and we stared at the ceiling.

"I should probably get changed" I giggle as I was still in my nightdress.

"Yeah.." Abby smiles.

I look at her, she turns her head to me.

"It's a new life, a better one" I smiled.

"..yeah" she repeated.

I get up and take some clothes from the drawer.

Abby turns around.

"you don't need to turn around, I really don't mind" I scoffed.

"Whatever.." she walked over to the window, closing it.

She keeps looking the other way.

Well, at least she's respectful.

I finish changing.

"I'm done" I call to Abby and she turns around.

"Hey, you look great!" She smiles.

"Definitely better to when I wore those stupid poofy dresses.." I rolled my eyes.

Abby laughs.

Zen comes in "we're going now, you coming?".

"Yup" I smile at him and we meet up with Grace downstairs.

I look around as Zen talks to Gus about some stuff.

I check back in the bar.

The two men from earlier were there.

The blondie notices me.

"Hey! Princess!" He waves to me.

Oh no..

I walk over to them.

"please don't call me that.." I sigh.

I lean on the table beside them.
