The Meeting

I've been waiting for a while for someone to write a good based Naruto and Harry Potter crossover but after I saw a drawn SasuSaku version I got tired of waiting and decided to write one instead. Now while reading this story you'll notice that there are a few Japanese titles. That's because I'm trying to make it more Japanese related than British-English. Usually what I do is use the words from Harry Potter and translate it to Japanese. Also if there are any changes made they will be addressed as to why at the bottom of the chapter.

Sakura was anything but a normal ten year old girl only she was being constantly picked on. Her large forehead stood out which would usually be covered her abnormal cherry blossom hair were the key factors classmates bullied her for but since recently strange, dare say magical things happened around Sakura resulting for her bullies points of her being a freak valid. Although she didn't have the great time making friends she was very intelligent and always scored top of her class. Even though she seems likable she had a few traits that some people may dislike, that is her likeness for being a know-it-all and constantly trying to please her teachers which labelled her as a teacher's pet. Her eleventh birthday was approaching and as usual she spent it with her parents. The evening of her birthday a blonde woman dressed in a witch's costume asked her parents to be invited into their house to explain the phenomenon that was going on pertaining to their daughter. Miss Haruno set a few cups of tea for their guest as Mister Haruno beckoned the woman to take a seat. Thanking them for their hospitality she introduced herself as Tsunade Senju, one of the professor of magic and proceeded to talk about what she came for. She told Sakura she was a witch selected by the Ukeire no kuiru and Adomitansu no shoseki which were a quill and book of acceptance along with some magical evidence for the family that to them may seemed unbelievable. With the flick of her wand and mumbled spells that seemed foreign to the family she made windows shut and candles go out. She told them the dangers Sakura will endure if not trained in the areas therefore, Sakura needs to be taken to the school Hoguwātsu in early September of the year. Her parents, left with no option, agreed and so when the time came they toke Sakura to the train station being greeted by Professor Tsunade once again ready to take Sakura to Diagon roji to get her supplies. It was her first time in the wizarding world taking in her adrenaline rush of a fascinating place. They went to the shop named Orību no tsue to test and purchase her wand, books for her classes along with a few additional ones to fill anything she may have missed out not being familiar with the life style, uniform robes and other equipment. Professor Tsunade showed her to Hoguwātsu train station and left her alone trusting that she'll be okay.

Sakura quickly went into a ladies room on the train and changed into her uniform. After she toke a seat, she pulled out one of the spell books and sway her feet back and forth waiting for the arrival. Being so intrigued into the book she barely heard a tiny shy voice spoke,"E-excuse me, m-may I sit here?" It was a girl with midnight blue shaded hair and peculiar pearl eyes."Oh no please, go ahead" she said closing her book and shot up in a chirpy attitude. The girl made herself comfortable before Sakura said,"My name is Sakura Haruno. What's yours?" The girl smiled at the friendliness making her eyes almost appear glossy,"H-Hinata Hyuga. Nice to meet you." She extended her hand outwards. Sakura shook it,"Likewise." The girls continued talking slowly warming up to each other. "I've never heard of the Haruno clan before." Hinata said interested. "Oh, my parents are normal people. They can't perform magic." Sakura answered. Hinata eyes widened a bit,"Ah, so you're a muggle then?" Sakura looked at her dumbfounded evidently unfamiliar with the word. Hinata noticed Sakura's behavior and quickly reassured her thinking she may be taken offense to the name,"Its nothing bad. Muggles is the name given to someone that has magical abilities but doesn't come from a clan or bloodline experienced in wizardry, rather a normal human family." Sakura stared at her,"I see. Which clan are you from?" Hinata gently smiled at her,"The Hyuga clan. There are a lot more clans but the most prominent ones are Uzumaki, Senju, Uchiha and Hyuga." Just as Sakura attempted to speak the train horn alerted the students that they made it to their destination. Sakura and Hinata quickly picked up their belongings and hurried out to be assembled outside. A spiked hair, brown skinned man walked up to the students neatly lined up. He had a slit going horizontally along his nose,"Alright students, my name is Professor Iruka. You will briefly walk towards the lake maintaining your orderly manner and be placed into small boats to be taken into the castle." Following the Professor's rules the students were carried along the body of water by small wooden boats to be taken to the entrance of the castle.
