Sakura blinked in surprise from his words. "What are you talking about?"

Endeavor sighed in exasperation as he gripped his jaw from where she had punched him. "It means, you stubborn child, that I was wrong about you," he muttered. "But that doesn't mean I despise you any less."

Sakura froze in shock. Did she just hear what she thought she heard? Then, she sat up slowky and smirked. "Good, and the feeling is mutual."

Endeavor glared at her but remained silent. He then heard someone's footsteps pounding up to them. "Sakura!"

She instantly recognized the voice and saw Shoto running up to her. "Hey Shoto. What's up?" she smiled painfully as she tried to stand.

He rushed to her side and gently wrapped his arms under her and helped her stand. "Are you okay?! Are you hurt?!" He then glared daggers at his father. "What is the matter with you, fighting her like that?!"

Endeavor rolled his eyes at his son's tone. "Don't look at me. She was the one who demanded me to fight her. All I did was simply make her wish come true," he replied bluntly.

Shoto was about to tell his father off for being so harsh, but he felt a hand on his shoulder, stopping him. "He's right. This was all me," Sakura said.

Shoto blinked in surprise at her answer before letting out a sigh. "Come on, let's get you some rest," Shoto put her arm around his neck and they slowly made their way out of the ring. But they both stopped when they heard Endeavor clear his throat.

"Asano, give your costume to one of the workers. They will have it repaired by tomorrow," he grumbled.

Sakura turned her head with her eyebrows raised. She was surprised from his somewhat kind gesture. But she wasn't going to show it. "Yeah, they better," she muttered.

Endeavor rolled his eyes from her ride response. He watched the two interns walking out of the training room.

"She's really something else, isn't she, boss?" Kaito shook his head in disbelief.

Endeavor thought back to image of her face when she declared that she would be a hero. Her intense and fiery aura had really surprised him and even sent chills down his back. A small smile appeared underneath his cold expression.

"Yes, she is."

"OW! Shoto, that hurt!"

"Just stay still," he muttered as he continued to rub the ointment on her injuries.

They were both now sitting on Sakura's bed, both fully showered and dressed in fresh and more comfortable clothing. Their training for the day was over and they were staying in the dorms at Endeavor's agency during their internship.

"The burns aren't even that bad. Besides they will be all gone by tom-" But Sakura was cut off by Shoto's cold glare. She gulped nervously and she completely shut her mouth.

Shoto sighed as he continued to rub the treatment gently on her arms. He felt a ball of guilt build up in his chest as he studied the nasty bruises and burns that covered them. How could his father do this? Why would she let him do this?
