CHAPTER 1

"Where should we go first?" Chester asked while driving.

We are on our way to the mall to buy Baby Brianna some clothes.

"Let's just go anywhere that's near para makabili kaagad tayo. Nagugutom na kasi ata itong si Brianna." I said while carrying the 1-year-old baby.

"I think we should eat first," Chester suggested while focusing his eyes on the road. "Look at Baby Brianna, she already looks hungry. Her hands are already in her mouth." He pointed.

Yeah, he's probably right.

Tiningnan ko si Baby Brianna at mukhang gutom na gutom na nga ito kaya naman wala na akong nagawa kundi ang bumuntong hininga na lamang.

We're now at the restaurant and Chester is ordering our foods.

"What does my Baby Brianna want to eat?" I asked while playfully looking at Baby Brianna.

Napaka cute at gandang bata talaga, lalo na siguro kapag dalaga na ito.

She doesn't speak much yet, and the only thing she knows how to say is "Mamama". It's cute that she added an extra "Ma" sound when she says it, and I find it cute, especially since I was the first one to hear it. She can also walk a little, but she still needs support.

"My baby Brianna is so cute. Nagmana ka sa 'kin 'di ba baby?" Pagkausap ko sa kaniya kahit alam kong wala akong matatanggap na sagot dito kasi hindi niya rin naman ako naiintindihan.

I like kids especially her. I'm so thankful because he came into my life.

"The food is ready," si Chester. I immediately smelled the delicious food on the tray he was carrying.

"Hmm, smells good huh." Natatakam kong inamoy ng malapitan ang pagkain na ngayon ay nasa lamesa na namin.

"Especially me." Sabat naman niya kaya natawa kami pareho.

I took two plates, one for me, and I also put one in front of Chester. I didn't ask for an extra plate for Brianna dahil sa pagkain ko nalang siya ibabawas.

Sumubo ako at nakikita ko sa mga mata ni Brianna na natatakam na siya. Natawa tuloy ako at muntikan pang mabulunan.

"Hey, take it easy." Chester immediately patted my back and gave me water.

"I-i'm fine, medyo nasamid lang." Saad ko at pinahiran ang labi ko. "E paano kasi itong si Baby Brianna hindi nagsasalita ayan tuloy tumutulo na yung laway niya."

"How can she talk? She's a baby."

"Yeah I know, natawa lang ako sa expression niya." I still can't stop laughing.

Iniupo ko si Brianna sa may table at sinubuan ng kanin at kalabasa. Mabuti nalang at may gulay ang in-order nitong si Chester.

"Drink some water, baby," I said while gently giving Brianna some water and covering her chin so that if she spills water, she won't get wet. "Very good, baby. Kiss."

And she kissed me on the forehead, both cheeks, nose, mouth, and chin.

"Mamama," she said cutely.

"How about me?" Chester pouted while looking at me with puppy eyes.

"Why are you looking at me? Ask Baby Brianna."

"Where's mine?" He said like a child.

"Aish, you should ask Baby Brianna and not me," I replied.
