Chapter One - What is Writer's Block?
We all know what writer's block is. Anybody who has added this book to their library knows what writer's block is. But in this chapter, I'll give you a deeper definition of writer's block and I'll talk about what it really is before moving on with this book.
First, let's start with a definition of writer's block: Writer's block is a condition, primarily associated with writing, in which an author loses the ability to produce new work.
I wanna make it clear that writer's block is not just one thing. Writer's block comes in so many different forms.
Writer's block is when you can't come up with a new, original idea for a new book.
Writer's block is when you don't know how to start/end a chapter for a book.
Writer's block is when you don't know how to move on with a book and a plot you've already planned out.
Writer's block is basically when you're sitting in front of a computer screen or a notepad or whatever and you just can't write. That's writer's block.
And in this book, I'll talk about: the causes of writer's block, how to avoid it, steps to outwitting it, how to inspire yourself, etc.
