The terrors of the night weren't different from previous nights. Even knowing the dream, I awake screaming the air escaping my lungs and my heart beating 100 miles per minute. The panic fades as I remember the dream as it replays over and over in my mind, I know every move, every sharp breath, and the ending.... oh god the ending.

I run from the monster, ignoring the sights of bodies hanging by chains and lost souls trying to find their way in the long corridor. I turn sharp corners, having to hold my balance as my flight or fight response kicked in, pumping adrenaline through my veins, making my feet go faster than my brain could keep up with. Still not knowing my path around the mysterious place I get myself cornered. I then turn to watch him, the demon. Slowly making his way towards me, making my anxiety start to boil over.

"Just kill me already." I think to myself. As I await my fate, I hear growling, at first I guessed it was the demon, but I soon see a wolf emerge from a doorway.

"Micah." I whispered as the demon turns towards the wolf, my love. That's right, Micah. The thought of him snapped me out of the trance and my mind quickly turns towards the right of me, where Micah should have been, but all I see are abandoned sheets. Tears started forming once again.

"Micah?" I stated, my voice cracking. My heart rate increased even more.

"I'm here." I jump as the brace of strong arms wrap around from behind me. "It's just me, lovely" I hear the stranger whisper. They were seemingly attempting to imitate Micah, but the connection wasn't there. He wasn't Micah. His skin was cold and pale, while Micah's is warm and tanned. The men embrace was uncomfortable and stiff, while Micah's touch always made me melt into him. That most notable thing, was his scent. The man reeked of blood and death, but had a mix of roses.

"Who are you?" I assumed, hiding my fear deep inside me. The man laughed at the question

"My sweet reaper, I'm simply your worst nightmare."
