(next day)

It was Friday night and we are at a party at Charles place for the success of our school musical play. Everyone in our school is literally at this place.

I was getting some drinks when a guy suddenly showed up infront of me

'you're gigi right?' he said and i awkwardly nodded

'did you come here alone?, whatcha doing?'

'no, i uhm i was just getting some drinks' i said and he continued to talk to me ugh i just wanna go and party with my friends

I was just nodding along pretending that i was listening, he kept looking at the floor or at the drink he was holding while talking.

I was peking through hes shoulder searching for someone to save me. Then i saw my friends sitting and laughing they look half drunk gosh.

Then crystal saw me, she looked at me half smiled

'nice' she mouthed and gave me a thumbs up i rolled my eyes

'help me' i mouthed to her and she looked confused

'Help. Me' i said and her mouth formed an 0 and walked towards me

I looked at the guy and he was still busy talking.

'so i was like yeah sure bro' he said and i just nodded

'whats taking you so long' someone said and i looked at it was crystal

'oh i uhm'

'oh sorry i should get going, see you later gigi' he said and wink at me and started walking away

Finally

'thank you, you're my hero' i said looking at crystal

'yeah sure bro' she said clearly making fun at the guy earlier. I laughed at her

'almost everybody here is drunk' i said looking around and i saw people laughing, drinking, singing, dancing to the music, making out.

'Oh, my heart hurts so good
I love you, babe, so bad, so bad' some of the people sang half drunk

'hey look at that they sing like drunk kermit' crystal said making me laugh and hit her

'stop it'

'what? Its a compliment. If i sing like pot smoking kermit they sing like drunk kermit' she said making us both laugh

I suddenly hugged her making her surprise

'you're the best crystal' i said and she didn't say anything

'i like you' she suddenly said making me look at her stepping away.

Her sudden confession made me awkward, shes my friend and she likes me. After my last relationship i just don't have a thing anymore in love and anything close to that.

She looked at me and started running away leaving me surprised and confused.

'go girl give us nothing' i heard someone said and i know its jaida

'you said you'll get us drinks and here you are giving us nothing' jaida said getting some drinks and looked at me

'what with your face?' she said and i looked at her

'Crystal likes me' i said and she looked surprise letting the drink in her hand fall.
