“Miss, Can I have your ticket please?” asked the flight attendant.

I rummaged through my bag and found it.

“Here” I said handing it to her.

“You’ll want to go down this hallway, and your seat will be on the right.” she said.

“Thanks.” I said fixing my bag.

I walked down the hallway and found my seat. I was the window seat. YES!!!! I got out my IPod and started listening to it. I had only been listening to it for less than five minutes when a guy who looked my age sat beside me.

“Hi I’m Brandon.” He said stretching his hand out to mine.

“Victoria.” I said shaking his hand.

He had blonde hair and looked like a six pack.  He looked like he was rich and had a hot blonde girlfriend.

“So, Victoria where you heading to?” he asked

“I guess home.” I said

“You guess? You don’t sound so sure.” He said.

Look at me I spent three years away at a boarding school with my feeling bottled up and now I’m talking to a complete hot stranger. Yup I’m still a badass. Ha-ha

“Well I kind of spent the last couple years in England and now I’m coming home but it’s not really my home because my dad and his new wife moved to this new house so it’s like I’m a complete stranger in my house.” I said. After this he was probably going to shut up and mind his own business.

“That would suck. I went to England with my girlfriend, but then she found a British boy and completely left me.” He said.

“Oh I’m sorry.” I said.

“Don’t be.” He said

We spent the next eight hours of our flight talking about movies and music and what we want to do with our lives. I was sad that the plane landed. I knew I’d probably never see Brandon again and I was okay with that. I guess I just wanted a friend. Or just a person to listen to what I have to say.

“So Victoria, I guess this is goodbye.” He said

“I guess it is.” I replied. What else was I supposed to say

“Goodbye.” He said

“Goodbye.” I said

After parting ways I went to get my luggage.

Walking down an airport is really intimidating I must say.

I went to the little circle thing and waited for my luggage.

I finally say the two pink and white striped suit cases.

I took them down and started walking to the pick-up and drop off center.

I waited there for about three hours when I finally felt my phone vibrate.

Dad: Sorry Sweetie pie but I’m afraid neither I nor Josie can come pick you up. The airport has a taxi service center. Sorry

Victoria: It’s okay dad I’ll just grab a taxi. Be home soon

Was he really doing this to me? Yes and I should have known when I returned it would be the same. Exactly like I never left. Oh honey I’ll be at your dance recital. I’ll be there my ass. He could never keep a promise. I thought after all this time he’d change but I guess not. I saw a guy walking down the hall and thought he could point me to where the taxi service center was.
