"Mike"
"Yes?"
"I don't think I'm ready for this"
"It's okay Will, you got this! Plus I got class with you so I'll be there okay?"
Mike saying he'll be there makes me feel calm and happy.
I just nod at him.
CLASS
"Would you like to introduce yourself to class?"
Shit
"Yeah sure"
You go over to the center of the class
"I.. Uh.. I'm.. " You stuttered
"You got this" Mike cheered with a smile
Mike.. I somehow got confident knowing that he's here for me.
"I'm William Byers, call me Will"
"Okay Will, you could sit beside Gaten"
The boy raises his hands up and I walk over to him, I took a seat and looked over to Mike.
He seemed sad..
GATEN
"Hey, I'm Gaten"
"I'm Will"
"Yeah I heard"
I smiled a bit
"Would you like to join us for lunch?"
"Us?" I ask in confusion
"Yeah like me and my other friends"
"Yeah sure I'd like to join"
I said totally forgetting about Mike and how he helped me today.
LUNCH TIME
"Yo guys, this is Will my new friend"
"Hey" I say with a warm smile
"Hi, I'm Lucas"
A cute boy says
"Oh hi, I'm Will" I say happily.
"Hey Will" Lucas says
"Hi"
We were talking about random things and I enjoyed it so much! I finally made friends.
Friends...
Mike..
That's when you thought about Mike.
"Hey guys, I gotta use the restroom"
I say while leaving
They just look at you running away.
