Today is the day..
My first day of school..
I get off my bed and start getting ready for school.
I reach the living room to see Jonathan making breakfast for me.
"Hey bud" He says casually
"Hey" I reply
"Today is your first day"
First day of school.. I'm honestly so nervous to see new kids again, what if I get bullied again? What if I still can't make friends? What if... I.. Mess up... Again..
"Is everything okay?"
Jonathan asks
"Yes, everything's alright" I say in a reassuring tone
Yeah right everything okay, it's okay that I'm joining a new school, it's okay that I'll get bullied again, it's okay I'll start cutting myself again, everything is just okay.
"You sure?"
"Yes I am Jonathan"
"Okay.. Now have your breakfast"
He says while placing the plate of pancakes in front on me
"Thanks for the meal"
I say as I start digging in
"Shall we go now?"
He asks
"Sure"
We leave
THE CAR RIDE
Jonathan's dropping me off to school today.
The car ride was silent and that silence helped me reach to my thoughts about the new school.
I just want a normal life, a life where I can just be myself, a life where I can feel free to do anything, a life where I have friends by my side"
*sigh*
