"Josh!" I yelled to my older half-brother as he walked into my room unannounced once again. He never learnt to knock, I swear, and it didn't matter how many times I threatened him either.
"Right, sorry.." He trailed off, leaving my room with his hands up in mock surrender, closing the door and knocking on it now which made me laugh, grudgingly. "Come in!"
He allowed himself into my bedroom again, this time with consent. "What's up?" I wondered, my smile not leaving my face despite the fact I rolled my eyes and he gave a small chuckle before replying. "We're heading to the Hype House, you wanna come?" He asked, 'We' obviously referring to the guys.
I'd lived in the Sway house for three months now, having moved in on the day I turned seventeen. The guys and I all got on really well... bar Jaden. For some reason that I simply couldn't place, Jaden and I just couldn't get along no matter how hard we tried.
"Sure, I'll be down in a few, just let me fix up my hair." I replied, turning back to my vanity and quickly grabbing my hair brush, combing through my long auburn locks. The door closed, signalling Josh had left, and I took a moment to quickly take in my appearance. My light blue eyes that were the same as Josh's, my long auburn hair that I simply brushed through rather than putting heat on it, my freckled cheeks and, my most hated feature, my lips. I always felt that my lips were too small and didn't match my face, and so told myself that once I turned eighteen I'd probably start getting injections. A few people had tried reassuring me that my lips were fine, but I simply didn't like them.
I applied a fair bit of lip gloss, trying to make them look a little more plump, before taking a quick photo to post.
