"oh and my pops wants to have dinner with us."

I turned my ass back around.

"my pops said he wants to have dinner with us tonight. i said yes. that's okay right?"

I stood there frozen.

he asked.

"great. i finna call him to confirm that he comin."

I headed over to Tiana's playroom, locking the door behind me. I immediately went running to my baby giving her the tightest hug.
