Chapter 12: Basic Training

//Callie's Confessional//

"Great now I have to be with Heather, whoo hoo" she said sarcastically as she lifted a fist in the air, "But at least I get to be with Gwen, LeShawna, and Owen for a bit".

//Confessional Ended//

"Which brings me to rule number 3: I like to get one quitter to the end of the first day and that day will not end until someone drops out" Chef explained as he walks pass the campers again then turn around with a glare "Now get your asses at the beach soldiers, NOW NOW NOW!" he yells through the megaphone as the campers started running to the docks screaming.

//Caleb's Confessional//

"Look I'm going to be honest with you, I do not support this idea and better yet I rather let Callie host a challenge for a change. But then again she will make it easy for the campers to win and there will be a tie so... nevermind I like this idea better"

//Confessional Ended//

Chef stands at the side of the canoes as the campers stand on the other side "Listen up, each team must hold the canoes over there heads" Chef explained as he points to the canoes, "I catch you taking your hands off the canoe and you will be eliminated and no one eats lunch until someone drops except for Callie, if you feel tired and hungry just take your hands off of the canoe and walk next to me".

"Canoes up!" Chef yelled and the campers lifted the canoes in the air, including Callie.

"Pfft this isn't that hard" Owen said with confidence.

"Piece of cake" Geoff said.

"Eh I don't know about easy my guys, Callie you'll do okay right?" Caleb said as he looks at Callie. She turns her head and nodded "don't worry I'll do fine", "now that's confidence, why can't you be like that Chris Jr." Chef said as he looks down at Caleb. Caleb rolls his eyes and crosses his arms "this better be worth it".

"Wanna make it difficult?" Chef asked.

"Fuck yeah" Caleb answered as he looks up at his Uncle. "Well wait until the 3 hours strikes" Chef said with a smile as he pushes up his sunglasses.

The three hour mark has struck and things got a little difficult for the campers, they're starting to feel hungry and tired from being under the sun for a while now. They even skipped lunch because of the challenge.

Caleb jumps on top of the Gophers canoe and sits on it as he drinks his lemonade "looks like they miss lunch today".

"Mm-hmm, guess they just weren't hungry" Chef said as he looks down at the campers, sitting on the Bass's canoe, "Unless someone wants to quit now". Owen stomach started to growl loud and Gwen glares at Owen "don't you even think about it, Owen".

"Callie you doing good down there?" Chef asked as he takes off his sunglasses. Callie look up a bit "well I am hungry but I'm good for now". "I'm surprised you didn't drop out girl" LeShawna said, looking at Callie a bit. Callie shrugs a bit "it's like holding up a heavy boulder, believe me I've carried heavy things even my brother".

"Hey!" Caleb said and Callie started laughing a bit.

Chef chuckles a bit until he heard a pair of hands goes back on the canoe "Is there a problem down here!".

"No" Harold answered.

Chef glares at Harold then sits back up on the canoe "Caleb do you mind if you bring your father here? want to see how he's doing". "Ohh so you can smooch and smooch in front of the campers?" Caleb said with a smirk and Chef gave him a death glare. Caleb falls of the canoe as he screams a bit "okay okay I'll go get him".
