Jedi Fallen Order One-Shots(with my OC Stardust)

Cal Kestis and Stardust first meeting

Authors Note: The title is a work in progress so please do not blame this geeky girl's soul. I altered the storyline to do this as well lol.

Stardust watched from her position as the Jedi made his way through the fields. She was going to have to intervene. But not just yet, she wanted to observe him for as long as she could before actually greeting him and his little droid.

Unfortunately, she didn't have the time she needed. The Jedi sensed her. He stopped in his tracks and scanned his surroundings. The droid beeped a question.

"I don't know, BD, but I don't think we're alone." The Jedi said to his companion. He put a hand on his lightsaber.

Stardust leapt from her perch and glided gently down in front of him. The Jedi's eyes widened, and she knew that he had never seen her before, which wasn't unusual.

"Why are you here?" She asked him. The Jedi gasped at her words.

"You can talk." He said after a moment.

"Yes."

"Then can you tell me who you are?" The Jedi asked, wary.

"Tell me why you are here, first." Stardust replied.

"I was told there might be a clue to finding a Jedi Holocron here." He told her. "Cal. Kestis."

She nodded. "There is a clue here. But probably not what you were expecting. My name is Stardust."

The Jedi, Cal, seemed to calm himself, and his droid beeped loudly at Stardust.

"I do not know what your droid is trying to tell me, but he seems to be a curious little one."

Cal smiled, patting his droid. "This is BD-1. He asked what species you are."

"NightWing. I am a NightWing." Stardust turned and began to walk away. Cal followed. She could sense his thoughts whirring with questions about many things, some she could not determine.

"So how do I find the clue?"

"You have found the clue."

"What do you mean?"

"I am the clue."

"You can tell me where the Holocron is?" Cal wondered. He seemed to be getting impatient.

"Yes. And no." Stardust stopped and turned back to face him. "The Holocron has already been taken. By an Imperial Inquisitor who called herself the Second Sister."

"Trilla..." Cal hesitated. "Why didn't you stop her?"

"I tried to. Not with my claws. With my words. I thought I could convince her otherwise. But I was mistaken." She explained. "The Inquisitor has taken the Holocron offworld, to a place where your kind were tortured. Turned against the Order. I may not be able to lead you there, but I will go with you and your friends."

"How do you know we didn't come here alone?"

"I saw your ship land in the southern plains." Stardust nodded towards the outline of the ship in the distance. "Climb onto my back, I will fly you there. We need to hurry if we are to stop your enemy from using the Holocron."

Cal did as she asked and in moments, they were in the air.

Cal and BD-1's companions emerged from their ship, gazing up at Stardust, and their mouths dropped open when they saw Cal on her back.

The Jedi hopped down and approached them. "It's alright, she's a friend. And she's told me where the Holocron is. Trilla has it."

"Your new friend there ain't gonna eat anybody, right?" Asked the four armed one.

"No, I won't. My name is Stardust." She told him with a small smile.

"It's good to meet you. I'm Cere, and this is Greez. So, how do we find Trilla?" The woman said in greeting.

"She said it would be in a place where they hold Jedi to torture them. I know you have a past there, and I know you know how to get us there." Cal explained, and after a moment, continued. "Stardust wants to come with us."

"What?! She can't fit in my ship! Besides, she'll break everything in there!" Greez protested.

Stardust let herself transform into a human form, then stared expectantly at the trio.

"Well, that settles it then."
