CHAPTER-6

"If she put a lot of trouble in leading a cheer-squad then it won't be for you dorks but because for the love her school obviously.
So is there some kinda symbol or something for your school?"

"There is nothing wrong with our team!" he exclaimed at you.

Then he cleared his throat.

"Cat. Our school's name is associated with cat Nekoma."

He emphasized the Neko part clearly.

"So let's get some cattish stuff"

"Is that even a word?" asked Kuroo with his annoying smirk.

That caught you off guard.

"Now it is"

"It's gonna be white day soon so don't fight now," said the shopkeeper

We both looked at the shopkeeper with a blank expression.

What does that supposed to mean?

"You both look like a lovey-dovey couple so I would give a discount for you," he continued.

"Mister I think you have mist-"

"Let's just play along. Money doesn't grow on trees you know?" whispered Kuroo in your ears while pulling you aside which sent chills down your spine.

"But I have no previous experience," you stuttered while saying those words.

"Ara Ara. Majikayo? Then let me show you how it's done," he said with a wink.

You could feel your ears burning all of a sudden.

"Can you show my GIRLFRIEND some of your cat-shaped jewellery?" said with a sweet smile to the owner.

He can smile?! Then why does he smirk all the time!

"Yeah sure. This just came in today. You guys are lucky." 

It was a lovely resin pendant of a cat with space colours.

"This is perfect, BOYFRIEND. Let's get this."

You just wanted to end it so that you can go home and chill without anyone judging you.

"How much?"

"As it is new, it is ￥5000 but I am giving you for ￥3000."

What a scam!

"BOYFRIEND let's go to another shop."

"OK ok. I will do one better for the lovely couple. I give you for ￥2500"

"No, you give me for ￥1800."

Kuroo POV

Is my GIRLFRIEND trying to reduce the price for me? I'm touched.

"No ma'am..... Fine, I give you a couple ring and this for 2500."

"You do not need to do that. Just the pendant is fine," said (f/n)

"White day is coming let your boyfriend be at peace," he said that with a wink at me

Now I get why he thinks we are a couple.

"That would be lovely sir."

As soon as I said that (f/n)chan just kept glaring at me.

It's cute how she gets annoyed by small things.

He gave a few to try on.

Your POV

You did not realize how long his fingers are until today with occasional cuts.

Maybe from practice

The carbon black ring with cat ears looked too good in his hands.

I should stop thinking about it.

You tried yours on but it was loose for you. You tried on many but couldn't get the right size.

This is disappointing. 

Kuroo looked disappointed like a cat who didn't get enough attention even though he knows he is cute.

Kuroo POV

"So sorry ma'am. Your size is not here ."

I was kinda looking forward to it.

She looked at me for a sec. Then with a smile asked for a silver chain so that she can wear it along her neck

That was sweet of her.

We started walking away from the shop.

"You can't escape from buying me food as you broke my plans," said (f/n)chan.

"I thought the rings did the trick."

"No material can substitute food other than another food," said (f/n).

"Okay, Fine. Let's get some takoyaki balls."

She smiled at me for the first time.

The sweet lady gave us a lot but in the same container thinking, you were a couple. Again. 

I don't mind this treatment for some reason

"Say ahh," I said ready to feed her.

Instead, she took another toothpick kinda thing and ate two balls instead of one.

"Where you starving before or something?"

"Let's assume that it might be the case."

"Soooo, Kuroo I never knew you cared about people in general  y'know"

"Rude. You mean buying the gift?" I said with a pout.

"Yes. That and helping an old lady across the road and buying me food"

"Wait. I had a choice in buying you food?!"

"Yes you did, but you were acting so chivalrous and also couldn't  slip a free food offer, can I now?."

She was smiling the entire time maybe it's just the food. I want her to smile at me for other reasons like me and me and .....

Am I falling for her?

"Do give me feedback about the gift, okay?" said (f/n)chan with a smile.

It was pure for some reason.

"Uh? Yes. Yes.Will do."

"Later Kuroo," said (f/n) waving at me.

Did we already reach her hotel? That was quick.

"We will be meeting soon again."

"Why?" asked (f/n)chan.

"What's with the annoyed face? That is  a surprise"

I will make sure you will fall for me harder than I did (l/n) (f/n)
