I was pretty sure that love was something that was made up for movies and romance novels. I never understood why my friends were so obsessed with the thought of love, when it wasn't something real. The idea that love was real never crossed my mind because I was so convinced that love was some type of imaginary feeling that people made up to get money.
Love was something that humans made up for people to obsess over and give them hope that one day they would experience love like they had just read in a book or seen in a movie or television show. They just believed that they were destined to find someone had live happily ever after. Humans buy into the stupidest and unrealistic things ever.
I was sure people like me, demons who roam during the night, were never supposed to find love because every "happy" couple I've met, never stayed together. Its not in our nature to find love.
I had never experienced firsthand love until i met him....
