Part 1: Bound by Fate

Gaston and his company are preparing for Village raid on the northern part of a village, for months they planned the entrance and exits of the village. The village they were planning to raid is known to be Witch Village many Black magic practitioner lived in that village and they believed that the village of witches, warlocks and ghouls. They also believed that staying in there longer might pose a threat to the whole company. So they decided that they will raid the village with a great swiftness and take all the valuables as fast as they can.

From a far a sentry spotted a scout, send earlier. The Scout immediately head to Gaston and report the happening in the village. He said that the people in the village seems to be too silent and no activities are going in there. Gaston find it odd that the people are behaving unpredictably and suspiciously. Gaston felt that it might be an opportunity or a trap. He was running out of time so he was force to decide an action. If he is correct that this was an opportunity it could become a big catch and lessen their raids to recover their forces. Finally after an hour of consideration he decided that at dawn when everyone is asleep they will proceed to the raid.

(At Dawn)

Gaston and his 20 strong men infiltrated the Village while the 80 of his men wait outside of the village for the signal that the raid was started. While Gaston and his men slowly and silently approaching the Village they heard a laugh coming from the village. It was so frightening that one of his men begged to him that he wants to go back to camp. As they approach the village entrance the laughing become more and more loudly the fear and terror that Gaston men felt made them pray while approaching the village.

 Finally Gaston and his men are Inside the village as soon as they entered the village the aura of surroundings change and the wind blew hard and the laughing stops and the temperature drops at that moment Gaston knew that they have been fallen to a trap. A total silent engulf the surroundings then one of Gaston's men says that he can't take it anymore then run through the gate. 

The  suddenly a mist surround them and they heard a scream from one of Gaston's men that run through the gate. Then chaos arises in the ranks of Gaston men. Gaston himself began to shake and Gaston is known for being a heart of steel and the man who fears nothing. Then a huge crack from the earth appears before them and dead people rises and attacked them. One of the unfortunate men of Gaston, Fergus has been bitten by rising corpse from the neck exposing his throat and died from bleeding. Then Gaston signal his men waiting outside but no one comes to their aid. Maybe because the mist is to thick that they do not saw the signal. 

Then Gaston remembered the teaching of his father. Gaston father is a Paladin he trained Gaston from the early age and died because of the previous Great War. If it wasn't for Gaston's father death he might become a paladin too because Gaston is really gifted when it comes to expelling undead and Demon Curse. Gaston muster his courage and Recite the incantation taught by his father and unleash the power of Paladin. 

Then after the incantation, Gaston shine like a sun and his Hammer shine brighter than the sun. Then he struck the rising corpse with one blow and all of them destroyed after a one single swing. When the rising corpse destroyed the Thick mist that surround the village fades away then Gaston's men finally saw the signal but the the dawn is already broke.

When the Dawn broke, Gaston's men finally reach the village but then they were shocked that only out of 20 men only Gaston and 7 are alive. Without any time to rest Gaston commanded that search the whole village and find anything useful. Then Gaston's men are dumb founded because the whole village is deserted and the only thing they found is a remains of of people. It was a huge failure to Gaston's Band.  They were going to return home empty handed after all and with a huge casualties. Gaston men who was with him are still frightened but grateful even though they were going home empty handed because Gaston save their lives. Now Gaston and his men was about yo set off but then they heard a cry of a kid. They thought that it is one of the evil trick in the village but Gaston insisted that they followed the cry of the kid. Then it led to a rundown house near at the gate.

 They go inside the house and saw a boy who have a huge wound in forehead and two person encircling the kid one appears to be a man and the other is a woman. One of Gaston men said it might be another trick so they best to be careful and not trust what they see because it might turn into a monster but Gaston felt pity toward the kid and slowly approach him and rip a piece of cloth in his clothing and treat the boy's forehead wound. 

Then the kid seems to be relieve when Gaston reaches to him and fell unconscious. Then  Gaston command that they take the boy with them. Then one of Gaston's Man found a necklace posses by the man near the boy. It was decorated of human teeth and have a insignia that must represent a clan. Gaston took the necklace and then they head out and took the boy with them. While on they're way Gaston thought about he insignia from the necklace, because it seems to be familiar to him if his father is still alive he might know what is the meaning of that insignia but it was a long day for Gaston and his Company after they arrived at the camp they immediately rest and give the boy they took in a medical care. 

The kid suffer and have a high fever, Gaston took care of the child alone because his men are afraid that the Boy might become something horrid and kill them so out of pity Gaston took care for him and after a week the boy fever is gone but when they asked the boy what is his name it seems the boy forgotten who he is and what is his name so Gaston give him a name and from this day and forward he is called Morgan.
