PROLOGUE

"Ciana! Omg you're finally back" I invited my friends sa condo ko para makabond sila, after 4 years akong tumira sa France with my dad.

"My oh my, gumanda ka lalo sis! Ganyan talaga pag naka move on gumaganda lalo" Maddie said as all them looked at her shocked, akala nila siguro di pa ako komportable pag usapan ang nangyari sa amin noon.

4 years ago nung nag decide ako sumama kay Daddy nung nakilala ko na siya, para makalimutan narin ang nangyari noon samin ni Asher. Masyado siyang masakit para balikan pero hindi ako mag papa-epekto.

"Cmon' let's drink, i bought tequila and beer na rin." As always, si Frey lagi ang taga dala ng mga alak pag
iinom kaming mag-barkada.

"So girl, kamusta ka? Are you fully healed na ba? If di mo pa keri puwede-" i cut her off

"I'm all fine, Syd. I moved on and don't worry, hindi ako marupok para jan duh." i laughed as everybody listened to me silently.

Ito na siguro yung ultimate lie na nasabi ko, 4 years akong nawala and the pain is still there. It's painful pero di ko magawang kalimutan ang lahat and probably sya rin mismo.

"Well, that's very good to hear sis. So now inuman na!" Ave passed me a bottle of beer and drink it.

"Namiss ko tong bonding natin tulad nito. After Ciana left, hindi na kayo masyado humarot and nag enjoy hays" Sydney said after drinking her own beer.

"Woah, anong kami? Hey humarot ka rin noh, sa tahimik na gwapo pa nga eh." Maddie exclaimed.

I missed them, mga asaran and lokohan. They're the best kung tatanungin ako, I'm so lucky to have them on my side always."

Buong gabi kaming uminom at nagkwentuhan and hindi ko namalayan na lasing na pala ako. Kung ano ano na ang lumalabas sa bibig ko.

"Putangina, masakit pa rin alam nyo ba yun? Nag mahal lang naman ako tas malalaman ko laro lang pala ang lahat!" i shouted as tears flowed from my eyes.

"4 years, 4 years akong nawala para kalimutan ang lahat pero gago sya pa din" i cried loudly, they're staring at my drunk messed up figure as they comforted me.

"Ciana, calm down. You're freaking drunk, you need to rest na."

"Yes Ciana. Tara na sa kwarto mo and rest, may meeting ka pa bukas sa company nyo remember?" Sydney said as i calmed down myself.

Nagising nalang ako nang nasa higaan na ako, nag paalam pa sila saakin kagabi bago sila umuwi. May meeting nga pala ako ngayon and many works rin na dapat gawin.

After graduating college and start working sa France, I am now the Architect sa company ni Daddy dito sa Pinas. Isa rin sa dahilan kung bakit ako bumalik.

"Oh papa, I'm on my way at work. Do you need something?" I answered the call after looking at the caller id.

["hi mi amour, I just want to inform you that Engr. Dizon resigned last week, and the good thing now is that you have new Engineer coming"]

"Engr. Dizon resigned? For what reason though?"

["He's old enough to work too much now, my daughter. So he resigned"]

"Okay papa i understand, do you know who is the new engineer?"

[I don't know darling, but i think his last name is Lachlan, i think?"]

Shivers run down my spine as i heard his last name. Lachlan? Well hindi naman sya ang nag-iisang Lachlan sa mundo, so i pushed that thoughts away and got to work.

"Good morning, Architect"

All of the workers greeted me as they knew that i'm the CEO's daughter here pero hindi ako tulad ng iba na masungit pag anak ng CEO, that's too rude para sa tao.

"Architect, parating na po si Engr. Lachlan and may meeting po kayo at kasama po sya." My Secretary informed me.

I went to my office as i fixed my makaeup , knowing that i might meet my ex today.

"Architect, ready na po kayo? Engr. Lachlan is already in his office po."

I admit, kabadong kabado ako sa posibilidad na si Asher ang bagong engineer na iyon. Engineering rin kasi ang kinuha niya noong college kaya nagduda na ako.

"Good morning everyone" i greeted everyone after entering the meeting room not taking a glance sa mga tao  nandoon and dumiretso lang sa upuan ko.

"Architect Suvoire, this is our new Engineer we've hired." one of my workers introduced the new Engineer as i looked at him.

"Engr. Lewis Asher Lachlan. Nice to finally meet you Architect Suvoire" pakilala niya at nilahad ang palad nya
sa harap ko para makipag kamayan.

Tinanggap ko ang kamay nya and bumitaw agad. He's not bothered at all, na parang walang nangyari sa past namin, I guess he moved on completely from me.
 

"Shall we get started?" My secretary asked and start the meeting

Taking glances at Asher secretly, i notice that his body feature changed a lot, he got taller and more attractive
Sabagay ganon siguro mag naka move on na talaga.

I want to hate him lalo na nag pakita pa siya saakin after everything he had done pero i can't, i just can't.
