Louis continued to smile as he chewed on the raisin bread.

“When I get back, we can do whatever you want, I’m going to skip my Earth Dynamics class. But the only thing is that my Mom wants us to stop for dinner.” Melina finished, leaning against the counter, looking up at Louis.

“Sounds good,” Louis murmured before placing his toast down on his plate in order to lean towards her.  He lightly grazed his lips against hers, grinning when he felt Melina shiver a bit at his touch.  Then pressed his lips against hers, intending to make it last a while.

Melina finally pulled away from the kiss when she realized that she was going to be indeed late.  “Shoot! Louis! I have to go!” She yelled before squirming to duck under his arms that he’d used to effectively trap her.

Louis chuckled as he stepped back, letting her escape.

“Oh my god, my lab partner and professor are both going to kill me!” Melina muttered as she pulled her Cherrywood coat on.  While pulling her long hair out from under the coat, she couldn’t help but glance over at Louis who was still standing in the exact same spot.  She made a face at him when she saw that he was waving her second piece of toast.   “There’s cream cheese in the fridge. Just put some on it while I get my satchel for class!” She said before making her way back into her room to get her school supplies.

Louis did as asked, getting the cream cheese out. Upon doing so, he grinned as he thought of a fun joke, he could already predict Melina’s reaction to it, but he couldn’t resist, wanting to see it himself.

“Okay, I’ll see you in about two hours, there’s a spare set of keys over there and a subway map on the coffee table,” Melina said pointing as she talked, not even looking up from her bag, making sure that she did have everything.  “Pen, notebook, planner, text book, text book,” she counted off.  “Okay I think I have everything. I’ve gotta go.” She said approaching him to grab her toast.  Louis held her arm out that had reached for the toast, so that he could use it to pull her towards him.  With one more kiss, he finally let go.

Melina blinked, trying to get her bearings back together but Louis’ kiss left her temporarily disoriented.  Then she glanced down at her toast.  She blinked.  Huh?

With one more look, she laughed before throwing her arms around his neck to kiss Louis by her own omission.  “You’re such a priss,” She teased before taking a step back and taking a bite of her toast with its heart shaped cream cheese spread.

After sitting around for about fifteen minutes, Louis got bored of just browsing through his computer.  Biting his lip, he hesitated a bit before deciding that he could explore the apartment a bit.

Starting in the living room, he began by looking at the CD and movie rack.  He laughed when he found that most of the movies were very chick flick oriented yet  there would be some action movies here and there that made him laugh.  However upon spotting a movie literally called Pure Country, he lightly took it out, rather curious.

“George Strait…” He murmured to himself.  Then as he read the back, he couldn’t help but laugh.  The female was even auburn haired like Melina.  “Such a strange bird,” He couldn’t help but say fondly as he imagined Melina glaring at him for teasing her about her love for country music of all genres.

He moved onto the pictures on the bookshelves and the counters.  He bypassed the ones of Melina’s roommate, a blonde girl that had a blue streak in the midst of her blonde curls. He picked up the first one, grinning when he saw that it was a picture of Melina, Eva, and another girl that he didn’t quite know.  But the three were in their softball uniforms, arms wrapped around each other’s waist and holding a trophy proudly.
