I am just a normal girl that has dreams. I want to be a hero, I want to save people who are in trouble and I have skills, I trained in archery classes, and I'm good. Here I am explaining that to my parents but they're not having any of it. "No Katie, you're just sixteen years old you can't just go around saving people, it's not bad to save people but It just doesn't make sense" mom says and before I can even reply Dad chips in "Yes Katie, listen to your mother, you don't even have anyone to help you, you don't hear people saying they want to be heroes it's just what you see in the movies, what if you get hurt?" Dad asks. "I won't get hurt I'll be careful, please " I try to reason with them. "No Katie just focus on your studies" mom replies."But...." I try to say "No buts Katie, you're our only child, we can't afford to loose you" mom continues. "I....." she won't even let me finish "No, end of discussion, go to your room!" Mom yells. I get up angrily and march up to my room. Ugh! I've always dreamt of being a hero and now all my chances are gone just like that. I fall asleep.
