Soobin grabbed Lucy and his phone before going downstairs.

"Here's the food we prepared, dear!" His grandma said as soon as she saw Soobin, "I won't ask who you'd give that to but, I have a clear idea who."

"Grandma..." Soobin playfully rolled his eyes at her teasing smile before leaving Lucy to her care.

Not long after, he arrived at the store and was greeted by a dirty Taehyun and Kai in front.

"Hyung!" Kai, who saw Soobin first, almost ran to hug him if he didn't remember about his dirty hands and clothes. While Taehyun's kneeling down beside the old pick-up truck with tools scattered near him.

"What are you guys doing?" Soobin chuckled at the state of the two boys.

Taehyun looked up to him and pointed at the wheel of the truck, "We're changing the flat tire."

"Oh!" Soobin nodded, "I would like to help you guys but I'm afraid that I would be more of a distraction than a help to you."

Kai waved his hand in dismissal, "Nah... That's okay hyung! We're an expert at this, don't worry."

"I brought you guys food, by the way. Well, grandma mostly did the cooking but, I helped with the kimbap." Soobin smiled as he handed them the food.

"Wow! Thanks a lot, hyung!" Kai's eyes twinkled at that.

Taehyun wiped his hands on a towel before he walked beside Kai to look at the food.

"Noona's shift will end soon. You could walk her home, then!" Taehyun said and Soobin could tell a hidden meaning behind his smile.

The sound of the door opening made them turn their head towards the noise.

"Speaking of..." Soobin heard Taehyun say.

Yeji instantly smiled when she saw Soobin standing there, making Soobin mimic the gesture and waved slightly at her.

Sounds like a cliche romantic drama but the moment their eyes met --- Soobin suddenly felt happy and warm. Like nothing could ever go wrong.

Laughters filled the whole house as well as the sound of scissors cutting Soobin's hair.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Soobin asked, glancing up at Yeji who's looking quite serious while cutting his hair.

He can't fully remember but somehow, they ended up in front of the mirror with Soobin, being Yeji's victim after she noticed the obvious discomfort in his face whenever his bangs poked him in the eyes when they were eating earlier.

"Shush... I'm trying to concentrate here."

Soobin just chuckled because of the serious and focused expression on her face.

"What do you think?" Yeji asked before grabbing Soobin's cheeks to make him face himself in the mirror.

Soobin's lips portruded, moving closer to the mirror to see himself clearer. "Hmm I like it..."

"Phew," Yeji wiped an invisible sweat from her forehead. "I didn't cut it too short right?"

Truthfully speaking, it's shorter than the length Soobin normally preferred his hair to be. But he didn't need to say that, not when Yeji looked so happy with it.

It's just hair anyway. It'll grow back in no time.

"So..." Soobin started, facing Yeji. "Would you let me cut your hair now?"

Yeji narrowed her eyes, almost glaring at him. "What?"

Soobin stared back before he bursted out laughing. He reached out and pinched Yeji's nose. "Stop glaring. I'm just kidding."
