「it's coming even more but we'll jump over the rough waves.」

seonghwa can't take his eyes off yeosang who was in the water, awaiting the strong waves to come by on his surfboard

another surprising talent to seonghwa as he didn't peg him for someone who'd be into surfing as well as skateboarding as they had plans to go over to the skatepark at night as yeosang deemed is much better than going at daytime.

he goes back to reading the book yeosang had brought along with them to the beach

tearing his eyes away from his boyfriend who was most likely pouting because the waves weren't big enough to be able to surf on.

but it wasn't long before his peacefulness was interrupted "hello there." he looks up to see a bunch of girls, pushing at each other 

"um, hi? anything i can help you with?" seonghwa asks, putting his attention back to his book rather than the girls in front of him 

"well, my friend here thinks you're handsome," one of them starts off, pointing at the girl right behind her as if seonghwa was giving them attention

"and she wanted to ask your name." seonghwa sighs as he looks up 

"hwaseong, can i go back to reading now?" he asks, a bit annoyed but still trying to be polite "o-okay, can she have your numb-" 

they were cut off with wet sand being thrown at them, seonghwa didn't even realize that yeosang had gotten out of the water 

"no, no, no." he kept at it while dragging the surfboard behind him

"he's taken." he drops the board on to the sand and the girls look at him with pure anger 

"oh, kang yeosang, fancy seeing you here." he rolls his eyes, grabbing his sunglasses from seonghwa

"well no shit, i live here." he says with shrug while seonghwa chuckles 

"angel, come on, leave the girls alone." seonghwa holds his hand, trying to pull him away from getting into a confrontation 

"no fucking way that he's your boyfriend." sunye snickers as if it was something funny

"well he fucking is now fuck off." he flips them off before earning eye rolls and they eventually left.

"look at you, being such a feisty fox." seonghwa pulls him down to his lap, he didn't care that his clothes were getting wet 

"you didn't tell them your name, right?" yeosang asks, getting a bottle of water

"told them my other name, who were they anyway?" he puts him down on the their blanket 

"went to highschool with them, they were part of those students who ostracized me after almost the entire school found out about hyunjin and i," he relays, still watching the girls until they were out of his sight
