It was a sunny day, the sound of children playing, the sound of splashing water. "You can't catch me!" The boy cried. They ran across the wide field of colorful flowers. The boy stopped running when he saw a shadow spying on them in the bushes. While he was Lost in thoughts of who or what creature was watching them somebody called out. "Gotcha!" The girl cried happily,the boy just stood there confused of what he saw, "hello? Earth to Colin?" The girl asked confused. "Oh.. Sorry, I kinda got in thought." The boy said, "are you hiding something?" The girl asked curious. "N..nothing, I'm not hiding anything." The boy replied trying not to act suspicious. "Fine." The girl said disappointed, she turned back and saw her mother, "Katherine!, dinner is ready!" Her mom called her, " give me a minute!" She cried, "bye Colin see you tommorow!" She said giving him a kiss on the cheek, "uh...okay." He said blushing. "Will you come here again?" He grabbed her hand And asked, "of course I will." she answered. she then took of running to her mother while waving good bye to him.
She went to the dining room with her mother while thinking about Colin. "What's wrong dear?, are you thinking about something?" her mother asked worried, "it's nothing mom." she answered. When she entered the dining hall she saw her father sitting at the table with three maids who was preparing their dinner. She politely sit down next to her father. Her father asked the maid to leave, and asked "so, I heard you have a new friend, and who might it be?" Her father asked curious, "his name is Colin." She answered, "Could you tell me a little about him?." His father asked, "He's a brown haired boy." She answered annoyed. Just then someone entered the room, "Did I missed something?" Her brother who just went to the dining room, "nope." She said pretending nothing happened. After dinner she politely excused herself, she went up through the long stairs to her room, she opened the door and sat down at her bed, she wondered about what Colin was doing and wether he was thinking about her too. "silly me, thinking about silly stuffs. she said to herself embarrassed. She turned off the lights and then closed her eyes and went to sleep.
The next day she was woken up from the knock on the door, "what is it?"
She asked still sleepy, "your mother wants to meet you at the garden."the guard answered, "fine, tell her I'll be right there." she answered while getting out of the bed. she putted on a blue turquoise dress with a matching brown flats, she tied her long wavy brown hair and rushed out of her room.
When she arrived at the garden she saw her mother, father, and brother sitting at the garden bench while chatting and laughing, "oh, what took you so long sis?" Her brother asked while giggling, "oh don't bother asking." her sister answered annoyed, "both of you stop fighting." Her mother scolded them,"so what are we here for?", "just spending some time with my family." Her father smiled. After some time playing cards together Katherine began to feel bored and remembered she had promised to meet Colin today "um, can i excuse myself for a while?" She asked nervously, "sure honey, but don't take to long we still have tea time together." her mother have a little smile, "thanks mom, I'll be back before you know it." she left and wondered to search for Colin she stared at beyond the dark forest near her castle. The leafless trees, the lifeless animals all of the things she wished to know about. She then called for Colin, "Colin, where are you?." no respond, she called him again, "Colin don't play tricks with me!" still nothing, then she saw the shadow moving in the bushes, "aha!, there you are!", But what she saw was not Colin but something worse than no one would expect.
