Chapter 1||Alex's POV
Of course things aren't as simple as they seem. My name is Alex Black. Daughter of the Black's aka known as one of the richest families in Vonwood.
I hate knowing that my family represents who I am as a person. Anyways I could hear ringing as I slowly open my eyes. I look over at the time.
I pick up my phone and turn off my alarm. I crawl out of bed and walk towards my bathroom. As I looked into my mirror I sighed and hopped into the shower. The shower was nice, I loved taking nice cold showers but today I decided to have a nice hot shower.
Not only because of my mood but because we are in the middle of winter. After I washed myself I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me. I looking into the mirror once again, My hair wet and dripping and my face as well. I quickly dried my hair with a towel so it wasn't fully wet. I walked into my closet and picked out my outfit for today.
I wore black ripped jeans with fish nets underneath along with my chemical romance croptop and gloves with little metal dull spines.Along with a black hoodie wrapped around my waist. I put my hair in a messy ponytail. My mother hates how I dress, and is extremely mad at me for dying my hair. My hair was half black half red. People say im 'too emo' but god what do they know. I walked downstairs to greet my mother, little brother, and older sister. My mother is never home so i was surprised to see her.
"Good morning alex" My older sister said as she smiled at me. "morning, whats for breakfast?" I said smiling back at her. My lovely mother once again ignored me and walked out saying "Ari you take care of nick, alex wont be here long enough because of school. I wont be back for some time."
"alright. And well dear alex, for today we have our French toast with berries, powered sugar and syrup on top. What would you like to drink" My sister said in a funny way.
I laughed and nodded to her as a thanks. I sat down to my brother playing on his phone. I grabbed my phone out and put my headphones on playing my music. I ate my breakfast a bit quicker than usual so I would be able to pick up my best friend Cameron.
After I finished eating I saw my brother waiting by the door. I normally drive him to school everyday. As we head towards my car I get a text from Cameron. But before i could look at the text "chop chop im in a rush hurry will ya" My brother said as he sat in the back. My brother is a brat, his name is Nicholas Beck. He's 15 years old and in 10th grade. While im in sophomore year of college.
My sister finished college. Matter of a fact me and all my siblings are all 4 years apart. As I pick up Cameron he waves at my brother and straight up looks at me.
C: "Ok, ok so we are finally getting to a new point where god please help me. We have dorms now."
A:" God what, cam why?"
C:"i dont know and im so pissed. Ugh the only good part is i might meet my future boyfriend~. And maybe your roomie can be a new friend? i mean c'mon you only talk to me, cherry and Toby. Make a new friend and possibly future girlfriend."
A:" Look i get that you hate Vanessa, but shes still my girlfriend and what?! whats wrong with only talking to you, cherry and toby??"
C:"nothing im just saying, a new friend wont hurt"
I quickly dropped of nicholas and started heading towards college. As cameron kept blabbing his mouth i was focused on who my roommate could be.
A:" I just dont wanna leave nick and ari.."
C:" awww A i get that but ari will take care of him, plus shes been raising you as if she was your mother for so long now, so you know she'll be good to nick"
A:" I guess, anyways i guess i gotta pack today"
C:" dont worry ill help, i already started so when i finish i'll help you out"
A:"thanks Cam"
C:" Anytime sis"
As we reached the college i parked my car. Cam and I both got out the car and walked towards our first class. While we headed towards our class we noticed a crowd of people looking at something on the wall.
A:" Oh no, please dont tell me we already got our roommates"
Cameron groaned and walked towards the group of people. Of course i followed behind. Sooner or later i saw my name with the one and only Miss goody El Frankson.
C:" OH MY GOD?!"
A:" what???"
C:" Ok so i got Dylan Carter, as in the hottest guy here"
A:" Cam! you realize hes dating my roommate, El! and I know that face which means your crushing hard again on him, not only that but hes probably straight so don't make that face and calm down. First find out if hes straight or not"
C:"hunny, I can take anyone's mans, you know this. Plus hes obvi gay for me. If not he's clearly blind im the finest gay here"
We both laughed. Once we looked at the time we realized its best to head to class before we are late. All i could think about was how my life would be having El Frankson as my roommate. As i walked into class i had a realization that El was in my first class. Shit.
