Four Years Ago: During The Great Rift, the land was split asunder and out crawled creatures that have not ever been seen on this plane of existence, Elementals. In a world where all creatures lived in harmony, no matter the race, they were taken unprepared as these Elementals took over the known world. Those who did not bend the knee were disposed of- Survivors escaped on ships, became wanted pirates, on the run, fighting the wars from the seas.The Gods of the world didn't appreciate these newcomers, and the majority of the population were given Gifts, abilities to fight off these intruders.
Each of the Four Elements has an Elemental Leader, above which sits three Higher Elementals. Darkness, Light and Life.
