UGH!!
I hate having detentions. What is the point of sitting in a silent room doing work, all because of some stupid mistake!?
And it's an after school detention, which is WAY worse!

*School bell*

My thoughts swirl around my head as I'm walking through the hallway.
Okay, just walk to the class room. Dont look at anyone. Okay, almost there just a few more steps. Suddenly, I see a pair of shoes right in front of me, fantastic.
"Shit" I whispered under my breathe.
I looked up to see Markus. Markus is the kid who beats me up. Most days he just leaves me with some bruises. But I have a feeling that I'm going to need a band aid or two.
Why is it today I had to get a detention?? And I was just thinking this day couldn't get any worse.

I just stood there. Waiting for it to happen. I wasn't nervous, or scared. I had gotten used to it. The pain of being scared is worse then the actual pain. Any moment now. 5... 4... 3... 2...
I felt a fist crash into my face. I just lie there on the cold hall way floor.
This is going to leave a bruise. Why was that the thing I thought of?? Why is my brain so fucked up? These are my most asked questions, I still haven't found an answer. Its like one of those questions where they is no actual answer, but you keep looking.

Ow, I just realised Markus has brought his friends. And now they are all hitting me. Simple just dont open your eyes and pretend nothing is happening. But what if there is a teacher there, how will I know. What if.. what if... just keep your mind empty alex. Keep your eyes closed, simple. Right?

Someone is touching me. I open my eyes, faster than ever. Few, it's just Megan. Shes my best friend.
"Finally, alex what happened?" She sounded worried.
"Uhh," ew I hate the taste of blood "I was just standing there and they came over, I'm fine dont worry. I hav-"
"Nope. I'm taking you to the nurse"
"Bu-" I just gave up, she wouldn't take no as an answer. So there is no point of trying.
"Where are your implants?" She pointed to her ears.
I immediately looked around, I cant have lost them again. I saw them.

Broken. Ugh

"Uhh they are broke" I explained to her. We both knew its signing time, I've been deaf since I was 8. I had hearing aids from 10-12 years old. But it just got worse so I got a mastiodectomy, which is basically putting an electrode into my head. It's kinda cool. Now I'm 14 and a semi normal teen. Apart from I lose my implants way to often.

So this is my life.
