It's the morning ☀️

You woke up and hoped that was a dream but you where proved wrong as you see the corps of your parents lying there in the ground.It was a scene you wish you could forget easily but all you could think of was how your parents where begging that man for mercy.

"If only I where there.. I could've died with them*sob*"

You cried.Regretting not getting there early,you could've saved them,or give them an opportunity to escape

'Tch what am I saying I wouldn't be able to kill that monster even if he let me, I would've been useless'

'You grab the cross necklace your parents gave you and prayed to the lord that your parents soul would be in heaven'

"I can't stay like this,I need to stay strong no matter what!"

You say to yourself trying to stay positive even after what happened

'Alright I'll start with burying my parents'

You grab a shovel and start to dig two holes in the garden. You made sure it was perfect. Then you grab your mom's corpse and make sure to clean her face so she seems peaceful. It was hard not to cry while doing this but you kept a smile

because your dad and mom told you to smile even if it hurts never show anyone your hurt.

After burying your mom you grabbed your dad. He was beat up pretty badly but you tried your best to clean his face and treat his wounds.

After burying the two you grabbed roses from the garden and did a bouquet and prayed for the both of them your necklace in hand

Months later🌪

You where living in the streets like a dog your clothes where all dirty and you had been living in an abandoned shack near your house and robbed food when there where outside but it's been weeks since you haven't eaten you taught you where gonna die of hunger if you kept up like this

'I'm hungry...'

You lived in a dangerous neighborhood where they're where a lot of narcos and kidnapping but your mom didn't have too much money and the house on the mountains was pretty cheap but you where grateful even tho you didn't have everything you wanted

it also had it's good side you could always hear a band singing and you would always see a group of people dance salsa there was also a man who your mom knew who worked at a restaurant who would give you free food. You loved his food it was always plenty of flavours

'I'm so dumb why don't I go eat at his restaurant!'

"Qubo mija!"

"Hola doña Marcella!como me le va?"

You head to the elderly woman.She was don ernesto's wife (the restaurant owner)

"Bien bien just doing some mercado cuz we don't have any ingredients left but if you want after I've done the shopping I will cook you a meal.

"YES thank you very much doña"

"De nada mija si quieres me puedes esperar en frente del restaurante"

(Your welcome child but if you want you could wait for me in front of the restaurant)

As you head to the restaurant you see some thugs in the alleyway trying to steal from a tourist
you try to ignore it but you see the face of horror on the woman and think back at the scene you saw at your house

'Ugh I'm gonna regret this so much'

The two thugs turn around to see you standing there in front of them

"What the hell to you want kid?go back to your parents where busy"

"Well the woman right there is a part of my family and I could never leave family alone. So I'm asking you nicely if you would be able to hand me my aunt back kind gentleman"

"Fuck off kid! This isn't your tia she doesn't have a drop of similarity to you"

"Yea I know but she is still family so yea"

"How about you give me money and I won't to anything to the both of you"

"Fuck off old piece of shit"

You kick him in the balls then you see a broken pieces of a glass bottle and stab the other thug on the foot and then you grab the woman's hand and get the heck outta there

"*huff* *huff* are *huff*you alright miss?"

*huff*yes*huff*and you*huff*are you*huff*okay?

You where a little shocked because her Spanish was actually not too bad compared to the other times you heard other tourists speak Spanish it would make you uncomfortable because of their accent but this woman wasn't at all bad

"Yes señora"

She bows to you and gives you her gratitude

"Thank you very much for saving me back there kiddo"

"Miss if you don't mind me asking where are you from?"

"I'm from Japan"

"Woooaah really?!"

"Yes*smile*i've lived in a quiet town for quite some time"

"But why did you want to come here of all places?"

"Cuz it's different from Japan. It's more lively and there's a lot of nature around here but the only downside is the thugs and all but it's actually kinda nice being here"

'You walk with the woman in silence and it was pretty relaxing'

*hungry stomach sound*

"Hehe yea I actually am. Oh! I almost forgot that I have to go to don ernestos restaurant for food. If you wanna you can come?"

"Sure why not! But I can't stay for very long."

"Because I need to go back to my husband"

"And what about you? don't you have a family to go back to?"

You whisper the last words so she wouldn't hear you

"Oh! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to.."

It became awkward after that

"U-umm how about you stay with me at the hotel?"

"Yea since it seems you don't have anywhere to go"
