When it all comes crashing down

Chapter 1

Will be skipping around a lot in the game because I don't want to write a whole 2-3 set game

Asahi Pov

Karasuno High volleyball team had a game against Jozenji today. The teams both get into position, it's Jozenji's serve.

Their Ace throws up the ball and hits it with amazing speed and accuracy "I got it" I hear my Libero say as the ball hits his arms with incredible force and I start running towards the net and jump to hit the ball getting us a point. Everyone is giving me praise but I only care about one of the "nice hit Asahi!" The spiky-haired boy said with a smile "t-thanks" I say blushing a bit

We now have 15 points and they have 14, we're starting to struggle a bit but it's my serve so I'm hoping to change that

I throw the ball up and do a jump serve which headed straight for their libero who got it and sent it back up and there wing striker sent it back our way

"I got it!" Noya said diving to make sure the ball didn't hit the ground

Just hearing his voice makes me nervous and I jump too late and miss the ball "oh uh s-sorry guys, that was my fault" I say rubbing the back of my head nervously

"It's okay, just get the next one!" Nishinoya shouts from the back

We ended up taking the set 25-22 with not a lot of help from me, I keep missing my shots

"What's up with you bun head?! You're missing most of your shots!" Coach Ukai asks/yells at me

"I um, I don't know, I'll do better next set" I mumble quietly because I don't like being yelled at. I feel someone touch my shoulder and turn to see who it was, then I looked down because the hand belonged to Nishinoya "you'll do great next set, don't worry" he said with a big smile making my heart race and my face heat up "ill try my hardest" I say with a big smile

We start playing the next set and it was going great, we were leading 18-7 but it was their serve.

They serve to ball and Noya gets it and sends it to Kageyama who sets it up for Hinata to do his quick attack which gets us a point

They other team gets the ball and goes for a strike and Noya tries to save it and he does but he doesn't get back up

The ball got sent to Kageyama and I scored us another point

Out of the corner of my eye I see my coaches and manager run over to the side of the court where Noya was laying on his side holding his ankle

A/n here's just a small chapter for a starter, I was aiming for 1k words but wasn't able to. Next chapter this Saturday, it's so much better
