Toni's POV

Today was going to be a hard day. I was going to tell Cheryl I was leaving to go to Greendale. I had read online that the Spellman's were witches and I hoped that they could make a potion that would turn me human again, hopefully, that would get Jesse off of my back. I just want to keep Cheryl safe. She's the most important person in my life. If the potion doesn't work I'll get them to make a protection accessory preferably a ring, I could play it off as a promise ring and then no one would hurt her again.

"Cheryl you know that important talk I said we should have?" I asked.

"Uh yeah why?" Cheryl asked.

"It's happening now," I said intensely.

"Okay," she said sensing my intensity.

"You know I love you, right?" I asked, staring into her eyes.

"Of course, TT, and I love you too," she said.

"And you know I'd do anything to protect you?" I asked, still staring in her eyes.

"Yeah, Toni what's going on?" she asked worriedly.

I took a deep breath. "I'm leaving."

"What?! What do you mean? Leaving to go where?" she asked frantically.

"I'm going to Greendale, but don't worry it's only for the weekend," I said looking down.

"Why?" she asked, pacing the room.

"I can't tell you that Cheryl, it's um personal," I said.

"Then what am I supposed to think, Toni! My girlfriend is leaving and she can't even tell me why!" she yelled.

"Cheryl, calm down if you insist I'll tell you," I sighed giving up.

"Okay go ahead," she said sitting on the bed next to me.

"My ex-boyfriend is involved with bad people and since we broke up he hasn't really left me alone, he's followed me anytime I moved and I don't think he plans on leaving me alone," I said.

"So why do you have to go to Greendale for the weekend?" she asked.

"There's something in Greendale that will get him to leave me alone and it's only for a few days, you can't miss me that much," I answered.

"Of course I can," she sighed, "Well I'm coming with you," she said getting up.

"No, absolutely not, this is something I have to do alone," I retorted.

"Well what am I supposed to do all by myself?" she asked.

"You do realise you have other friends, hang out with Betty and Veronica or something, I dunno," I chuckled.

She inched closer to my face making my stomach clench.

"But. I. Want. You." she smiled and leaned in to kiss me, I kissed her back.

"I need to go, babe," I whined.

"What'll a quick makeout session do?" she asked playfully.

Before I could answer she kissed me and we made out for a good while, I really was gonna miss her.

An hour later

"I love you, I'll call you when I get there," I said.

"I'll be waiting. I love you too," she answered, pecking me on the cheek.
