"He still ranting?" I sighed, rubbing my hands on my belly.

"Yes...How's Aria?" She asked, looking down the hall towards Aria's room.

"She didn't answer. I think he really hurt her feelings."

"Dick didn't. She could care less what he tells her...She's worried about loosing Wally." De responded, heading towards Aria's room.

"She isn't going to answer De."

"Oh yea she will..It's me. No offense..." De coughed, knocking on Aria's door.

"Actually....some taken...That hurt a little." I pouted as De opened the door. "She plays guitar?"

"Yes. Now hush...Let me do the talking."

I rolled my eyes while De walked over to Aria's bed and I closed the door behind us, Aria had taken her earbuds out of ears and was now hugging De when I turned around. "Wow...I feel all the love right now guys..", Taking a seat on the other side of Aria I looked over at the words written down in front of her. "What's that?"

"What? Oh, nothing.." Aria sighed, closing the notebook and sliding it underneath her leg.

"You know your brother is just being stupid right..and if Wally listens to him then he isn't right for you." I smiled hoping for a hug only to get a glare from Deanne.

"I know he's going to listen...They are best friends..Why wouldn't he?" Aria sniffled, laying her head on De's shoulder.

"I don't think so Aria...He knew there was a risk today and he still took it." De smiled, rubbing Aria's back.

"De's right Ari..I love your brother, but even I don't listen to him half of the time." I shrugged, "So stop being all sad and show us what you wrote down that you are being so secretive about."

"It's just some song lyrics..They aren't even that good guys..and my singing is way off today." She mumbled, covering her face with her hands.

"Oh come on Aria...Please because I'm your best friend and you love me." De pouted, pulling Aria's hands from her face.

"What am I...Chop liver?" I giggled, snatching the book from under Aria's leg.

"No! Fine...I'll show you guys! Just give it back.." She frowned, snatching the notebook back and fixing her guitar in her lap.

Aria's P.O.V.

I started to strum on my guitar as the words left my mouth.

You're the boy with a real nice smile,

And I think she lost her mind.

Tears filled my eyes again as I continued, De and Acacia were swaying back and fourth on the bed as I kept singing. Looking back down at my notebook I pushed back tears.

Are you giving up and done?
Are you through with all this?
Are you tired of the pain?
Torn to pieces.

Can you let me try?

My voice started to crack as tears slipped out of my eyes, De lifted my chin up as Acacia turned her flashlight on her phone on and started to wave it back and forth. A little smiled filled my face as I continued.

"Aria...You're going to make me start crying...Why didn't I know she could sing?" Acacia sniffled, leaning on De.

"Um..You are always kissing up on her Dickhead." De laughed, causing me to let out a little giggle.

"It's not my fault he's attractive..Even if he is dumb..But anyways, Aria you need to start performing! I'm entering you into the talent show...It's a thing." Acacia chirped.

"Acacia...This is Aria we are talking about...You didn't even know she could sing.." 

My eyes grew wide as I kept singing while nodding at De, There was no way I could get up in front of the school and perform. I would pass out or just die.

"She'd be fine..I may know someone that can play with her."

I see that you're breaking,

I finished out my song and laid my guitar back on the bed before I threw a pillow at Acacia's head. "If you think I'm singing anything in front of the school...You are insane." I shivered.

"Fine...But at least sing that to Wally...He can't listen to Dick if he hears that." Acacia huffed.

"Yea...No...I'm too scared of what he would say...I love him too much, I can't hear him tell me that he's going to listen to Dick.." 

"Aww, Aria.." De pouted, throwing her arms around me, "I'll be your new Wally" She laughed.
