Wally backed away slightly from my sister as I raised an eyebrow at his reaction. Did he really just flirt with Aria right in front of me? She's not even his age!-
"We're leaving soon," Batman's voice growling in my ear broke through my thoughts as De warily peeked her head around the corner of the table she was hiding underneath. Readjusting my sunglasses, I gave him a confused glance before nodding in reply. Guess it's for the best that we leave early- Especially after my sister's mental breakdown. And since when does she have powers? How come she gets superhuman abilities but I don't? We're siblings, how does this even work- While Aria was taking deep calming breaths and leaning against the wall that Wally had led her to, the zeta tubes went off, announcing the arrival of Martian Manhunter as Batman turns to lead me toward the exit zeta tubes. I paused briefly while Martian Manhunter turns his attention to the zetas once more as the computer scans another newcomer.
"Another newbie? Hope she's cute~" Wally, completely abandoning Aria, rushes to my side and I roll my eyes at him, elbowing him in the stomach roughly which causes him to yelp in surprise, "Hey- you can't blame me for dreaming!"
"Just shut up before you start drooling..." I growled irritably, crossing my arms over my chest as a green skinned girl who looked similar to Martian Manhunter stepped into the room. Instantaneously, Wally darts in front of me while putting on one of his flirty grins as he winked at her, and I irritably ran a hand through my hair before walking over to greet the new member of our team.
"This is my niece, M'Gann M'orrz," Martian Manhunter explained as M'Gann smiled politely, glancing over at Superboy while Aria and Deanne hurried over to join the group. I looked over my shoulder to see that Connor was hanging far off in the corner of the room to stay away from the steadily growing crowd and I waved a hand in his direction as he awkwardly frowned, noticing that everyone was staring at him now.
"Come meet the new girl, Superboy," I chuckled, smirking as he grudgingly trudges over to us while Wally smiles broadly at him before turning back to the green skinned girl, attempting to look attractive for her. I rolled my eyes at him unamusedly. Didn't he just try to hit on my little sister? Wally, you seriously need to chill. Martian Manhunter clears his throat patiently as his niece shapeshifts to match her shirt with Superboy's.
"I like your shirt," She shyly giggles, a blush forming on her face as Connor grunts awkwardly and looks away from her while De steps forward to say hello, completely bypassing Wally, which causes him to impatiently pout.
"I'm Deanne! Nice to meet you, M'Gann," De smiles, Aria coming to stand beside her, "I'm glad that they're won't be so many guys around here," She giggles amusedly, smirking confidently at me and Wally while Connor shuffles backward so he's behind the crowd.
Aria leans on her for support, waving in greeting as she smiled, "My name's Aria," As she introduced herself, Connor moves back a few more paces, and, glancing around the room, I realize that Acacia is nowhere to be found and Batman is waiting at the exit impatiently, his eyes narrowed as if to remind me of the fact that we needed to hurry up and cut this visit short. I sighed softly, turning back to M'Gann to say goodbye but as I'm about to speak, Wally gently nudged De out of the way and takes M'Gann's hands in his.
"My name's Kid Flash, but you can call me Wally, beautiful~" he chuckles, flashing a flirtatious grin before he gestures to me and Superboy individually, "And this is Rob and Supey. But they're not important~ So how about we take a private tour around the cave, cutie?~" I chuckled softly, taking his hands away from hers while M'Gann blushes profusely at his advances and Wally scowls at me, "Dude!! You're killing my flirting here," He grumbled, shaking off my hands as I smirked at him.
"More like killing the creepy vibes you're sending," I snickered, putting my hands on my hips while Aria pushes forward and shoves Wally in the side, her eyes flashing bright white.
"Why are you even flirting with her?" Aria demanded, shoving Wally again as he raised his hands up defensively, "I thought you called me beautiful? Now you're calling her the same thing?! You just met her a second ago!!" Wally flashes me a distressed look as if asking for help from me and I shake my head with a small chuckle while De rushes toward us and stands between them.
"I was just being friendly!" Wally shot back at Aria while trying to use Deanne as a wall to defend himself against Aria's lashing hands, "And you don't have to get so jealous when I talk to another girl!" I facepalmed at his response and Aria's mouth drops open, clearly speechless before she closes it with an agitated growl.
"De, we're going back to the manor. Call Ryan and Lukas," She snapped, turning her back on Wally who looks completely confused while I walk toward Batman who plugs in the coordinates for Gotham as Aria drags De over to us. Deanne flashes me a look that reads 'help me' and I laughed softly under my breath in amusement, shaking my head 'no' while The Flash zooms last us to get Wally.
"I can't believe him! He's such a jerk," Aria grumbled, scowling as she curled her hands into fists when the zeta tubes teleport us out of the cave, "I thought he liked me but then he turned around and started flirting with some random girl that literally just walked into the room," Batman stays silent as he leads us to the Batmobile, stoic as ever, even with Aria's drama. I sighed, smirking amusedly at my sister as she seeks comfort from Deanne.
"Honestly, I think you're over reacting," I chuckled despite De giving me a warning look while Aria glares at me, "Wally literally flirts with anything that breathes, and he can be a real idiot sometimes. But that's not your problem because you're too young to date him anyway," Before Aria can answer, I slipped into the passenger seat while Batman reves the Batmobile's engine impatiently.
"Well, who said I wanted to date that idiot anyway!" Aria snapped in reply, plopping down in the backseat with Deanne as Batman lowers the hood of the car before we start driving toward the manor.
"You literally just threw a hissy fit in the cave when he was holding M'Gann's hands," I replied scowling at her through the rear view mirror, "I think that pretty much screams 'I want to date your best friend' in every universal language practically,"
"Can we just not talk about that outburst anymore, please?" De broke in, putting her face in her hands tiredly. Batman grunts in agreement, not bothering to glance at Aria or me. I huffed, relaxing against my seat as my sister does the same while pulling out her cellphone.
