The next morning was Sunday. I slept in till nearly noon and didnt shower till midday. I hopped out of the shower and walked naked around my room looking for something to wear. I felt i was being stared at but shrugged it off and changed into bright mixed colored trousers from H&M with a black shirt. I put on some black Toms and let my straight hair down.
I called Mandy to see if she had plans but she said she was with Greg for the day. I put down my phone when the doorbell rang. I skipped down the steps and saw the front door opened. I stood there confused and continued down the steps quietly. My mind was racing, i didnt know who it could be. Mom wouldnt be back till later on this week and Mandy was with her Greg. Since i had no other friends or anyone who came over for that matter, i grabbed the steel baseball bat that was located at the end of the staircase and held it firmly. I dont know why i was so scared but decided id rather be safe than sorry.
I walked into the empty living room and checked the downstairs bathroom. Nothing. So i walked into the kitchen and saw a male figure, a pretty great figure at that, standing with his back to me. Instead if asking him flat out who he was, i decided to be quiet so i wouldnt give him a chance to escape. I was about a foot away from him when Bradley turned around. He looked at the bat then at me and raised an eyebrow.
"Nice to see you too, Dani" he chuckled. I lowered the bat and smiled sheepishly. I probably looked like a scared little girl in an attempt to try and save herself from god knows what. But luckily, it was Bradley. Wait... Bradley Goode was in my house.
"Sorry, th-thought you were a burglar or something." i stuttered.
"Sorry, if i scared you. I saw you were in your room so I came over to give you back your keys i accidentally stole from you lastnight." he said handing them over. I grabbed them feeling his hand for a quick second on mine, sending tingles up my arm.
"Oh" was all i managed to say. I tried to regain my composure and set the bat back in its place.
"Do you want something to drink?" i offered.
"You got soda?" he asked following me to my fridge. I opened the fridge door, bending over to grab a soda. I stood up and saw Bradley watching me as he leant on the fridge. God he seemed so cool just standing there like that.
I handed him the soda can and watched him drink and then i realizeed i was gawking, so i shook my head. This boy always made me act silly.
"So, what are your plans for today?" he asked, looking at my outfit.
"Well, i have none. Mandy's with her boyfriend." i said walking into the living room and sitting down. I turned on the TV and looked for something good to watch. I settled on cartoons and Bradley took a seat next to me.
"Is she that girl you always hang out with? I saw you two lastnight at the club." he said.
"Yep, thats Mandy. You were at the club lastnight?" i asked.
"Yeah" he said watching the TV as Tom tried to endlessly chase down Jerry. I loved Tom & Jerry.
"I didnt see you there"
"Well maybe this weekend, we can go together and you'll be with me all night." he said grinning.
Did he just say what i heard him say? He wanted to go with me the club and be with him all night? I was practically bursting with excitement on the inside but i just smiled at him and accepted the offer. Oh man, i could not wait for this Saturday.
We continued watching TV for a while but he left, giving me a kiss on the cheek as he rested his hand on my hip. As he backed away, i wanted nothing more than to just kiss him endlessy but he just walked away to his house. I closed the door behind me and leant on it just imagining what this Saturday would be like. Hopefully, nothing would ruin it and it would be a great night. Just us two.
